After living in Japan for a couple years and staying nearly 100 different hotels, I'm used to an extremely firm, not so comfortable mattress. This took it to a new level, the bed was super uncomfortable. To add to it, it had an even more uncomfortable pillow. Pretty much a bean bag. Another issue we had with the bed is that the sheets were too small, in the middle of the night it would pull from under the mattress and you'd wake up and be laying on the mattress/mattress protector. On our way in one night, my wife asked for a bigger sheet. I thought the staff would just give us a bigger sheet, instead it turned into a huge ordeal where one of the managers came and checked out bed to see if the sheet was really too small. She came back with another sheet that was the same size and put it on the bed while we awkwardly stood and watched. I did notice while the sheet was off the bed that the mattress protector had a lot of stains on it. Which is quite disgusting. The new more tightly installed sheet didn't work either, it was coming off the bed by the time we woke up. It's an older hotel so the sound proofing isn't great, and it's near the train tracks, so that means it can be noisy from outside. The rooms feel very worn and pretty dated. Overall, the service was good-ish, beds awful, cleanliness was okay, and in an okay part of the city. However, I wouldn't stay here again.

Great stay experiece.. The room is very comfortable. The refrigenerator is available on the room, and microwave is available on the public area that very useful for foreign travellers like me, that bring my own food from my country. The hotel breakfast provides western menu..

First the woman told us the hotel was just for japanese, which is confusing because we made the reservation by booking, but then, talking with manager he accept to check in us. The room is small and you don’t have option to put your stuffs, wifi is very good, breakfast is poor. Location it is not one of the best, if you can pay for other, I’d suggest do that

Hotel staff were extremely friendly, and spoke English really well. They have an automated front desk system, so if there isn't a person there, you can check in/out yourself, but there's always someone there when we passed by. Rooms had more space compared to one we had earlier in our trip. The only thing we would have liked was a nightstand by the bed and/or outlets to charge our phones near the bed. Breakfast was buffet style, and the matcha swirled bread was so good! It's very close to the Hamamatsucho station and in the opposite direction, there's a bunch of restaurants on the major street. Very convenient! The only other issue we had was finding the Hotel. Google sent us behind the building, and they don't have a big sign that says their name, but once you find it, it's super easy to get to and from. Still would recommend it.
