Room has mold on the ceiling. Hair on the bed and I blood or poop stain that I had to clean myself because there was no housekeeping. The ladies at the breakfast were to busy chit chatting and having breakfast instead of restocking. I was given a room the was already occupied. The room is totally outdated. The only good thing was the rv was a good size.

The receptionist at check in was very nice and helpful. I'm going to be honest the room was a lot better than I expected. It was affordable, very clean, roomy and nice! I loved the extra thoughtful touches like body mirror, bench area to remove shoes etc. And the space by the restroom that had a tea/coffee set up or you can use it for a makeup area. Inside the closet was a iron and full size ironing board. The bathroom was very clean as well. Along with the refrigerator, microwave & breakfast included. My husband and kids loved the large T.V as well! We really enjoyed our time and would highly recommend it.

Upon entering the office to check in there were two vagrants outside under the awning. Once we got into the room we were unpacking and went to hang up our coats and the coat rack fell off out of the wall. We went to go plug our phone chargers in the wall and the outlet cover came off which made it very unsafe. When we went to take a shower we could tell it had not been cleaned since the last patrons as there was hair all over the shower walls. The hotel had a worker doing work right outside of our room at all hours of the night which kept us up for hours. This person was doing labor and using Extremely Loud electrical tools right next to our room which was right next to the office. This should not be allowed. The continental breakfast was not as it was advertised. Overall I think the Wyndham company needs to remove this Howard Johnson location from their offerings as it was extremely disappointing, embarrassing and a poor representation of the Wyndham company.

If traveling to San Diego and need lodging, look no further than Howard Johnson’s by Wyndham in the center ally located Midway District of SD. 15 minutes from the airport, my check-in was effortless, staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating. The rooms have microwave, fridge, irons and ironing board; everything needed for a restful stay. In the morning, a complimentary continental breakfast awaits and gets you on your way replenished. Ample, free, off street parking is conveniently located near rooms. A pool, laundry facilities and ice machine are available as well. Property is close to major public transportation and trolley hub in historic old town. Highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel near all San Diego has to offer!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Someone came in my room while I was gone, smoked a cigarette, ashed all over the desk, and left their cigarette in the trash! They also put a tissue in the peephole of the door INSIDE the room(whoever was in there obviously thought the peephole works both ways) I felt completely violated and so scared to think that someone was in my room!!! I brought this to the attention of the front desk employee who told me the Manager would be in the next morning at 7am to review the video cameras and that the Manager would then call me. NOBODY called me so by 5pm, I called them. I spoke with the Manager who repeatedly told me that no one has access to my room....so did the cigarette appear out of nowhere?? and the tissue?? She then informed me that she would not look at the security cameras without a police report. Clearly the safety and security of their guests is not important to them! Please do not stay here, it is NOT safe!!!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
