        I have stayed at lots of Hyatt locations across the U.S. and overseas. Love the brand. This location does NOT live up to the brand whatsoever. Front office staff was nice and helpful upon arrival. That was the bright spot in an otherwise unpleasant stay with too many observations to note here. I had a colleague that stayed at the nearby Marriott. When I went to pick her up for a meeting, I was struck by its high quality and left to wonder why Hyatt would diminish their brand in such a competitive Dallas market.

        Just to be clear, this is an extended stay apartment complex. So any references to "adjoining", "suite", etc. all mean apartments next door and 1 or 2 bedroom apartments. We stayed in a 2 BR 2 BA which was a nice size. One room has a king bed with a shower and the other had 2 queens with a tub. The layout was fine. The closets were large, but I'm traveling so I didn't need a walk-in closet. The ice maker didn't work in our fridge. We were able to get the front desk to bring us a bag. There is an ice machine in the lobby area. They also have coin operated washers & dryers, which I didn't have time to use, but they looked fine. The room had been remodeled but had some issues with cleanliness. It was apparently an issue to get a shower curtain for the bathroom with the tub, so we didn't have one the first 2 nights. The lobby is in a different building, just as if it was a management office of a complex. These are 3 story buildings. Keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage, there is no elevator. We noticed trash piling up in the lower outside trash cans. There were quite a few broken down cars in the parking lot including a Hyatt House van sitting there with a flat tire. They charge $7.00 a day for parking which makes no sense. There is plenty of parking! The breakfast was decent but they were out of milk on my 2nd day. How do you run out of milk? Send someone to the store! There is also a bar at the front desk. The 2 ladies at the front were very helpful. All-in-all it was an ok trip. we weren't there much anyway.

        I am in town for work and found a cockroach this morning. I had to fight with the front office person to get them to come take care of it because maintenance wasn’t in yet. He assured me it’s very rare it happens. I continued to get ready for the day and while showering had 2 more run around the bathroom. I immediately packed my stuff and got out. A manager was supposed to call 4 hours again and still haven’t heard a word about it. Every staff member I encountered told me that it’s normal to have cockroaches. I called around to the 4 other hotels that were close and ask if they’ve experienced this and was told no- that shouldn’t happen and it’s not normal. I am so disappointed in the facility as a whole. Half of my outlets didn’t work, everything in the pictures appears nice, but is broken down and dingy and now a cockroach issue. With no manager calling back either it is very discouraging to ever even attempt to give them another chance. I highly recommend that you DO NOT stay at this hotel. The only picture I got was of one that was dead and much smaller than the others .

        It's a nice place. Only thing I don't like is the indoor/outdoor carpet. Seems like way too nice of a place to install indoor/outdoor carpet but.... what do I know?

        Loved the place. 2 separate suites roommatebstyle with a full kitchen and living room. Set up like an apartment. Enjoyed the stay. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Like a waterfall.
