I stayed at this place in December 2018… because i see many people recommended to stay at this hotel to enjoy the best views of the shanghai bund from this hotel rooms… and it turned out to be true... I ordered a room directly facing The Bund… the view at night its Amazing… we stay in this hotel around 3-4 nights before we go to the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel…

This was the 3rd hotel we stayed in while in China, and it was by far and away the best hotel. Firstly, the location is absolutely excellent only a very short walk to the Bund itself. Then there were the rooms which are also very nice, they are not huge but they are very clean, modern and comfortable. The TV is in a slightly strange location for watching when you are lying down on the bed but it is not a problem. The bathroom is nice, the bath tub and the shower are separate but they are in the same room nonetheless, it is nice. The all day dining restaurant was great, very good service and very good food. It is also where they serve breakfast which was by far the best one we had in China. Again they very everything you expect from a 5 star hotels breakfast and very thing is made fresh by chefs in front of you. To be honest the dumplings where some of the best we had. They also have a bar and restaurant on the 31st and 32nd floor of the hotel which you really must visit as not only are very nice establishments they offer some of the best views of the Bund I experienced and it is great to the see the city at night. Excellent picture opportunities. Unlike the other hotels, the most noticeable difference here was that a much great number of people spoke English with much more fluency, which made a nice change. As I have said this was the best hotel we stayed and its location cannot be faulted. I highly recommend.

Very good location, walking distance to the Bund. Hotel is a bit old but the room is spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet provides a OK variety of food and tastes good. When I stayed in Dec 2019, there’s a construction site right in front of the hotel. The noise may get on somebody’s nerves. In general satisfied with the stay.

Huge hotel in the centre of Shanghai near the Bund. Spacious clean rooms, some have a nice view to the Bund and the skyline of Pudong. Breakfast was good but it was often difficult to simply get of coffee. The service in general was OK but not sensational. The view from the roof top bar is fantastic and truly the highlight of the hotel. To get a seat near the window a minimum consumption of 500 Yuan applies per person which is way too much. From the restaurants I tested the buffet at Aroma which was good. Large variety of food, good quality and some drinks are included. But without the 40% discount for hotel guests it would be too expensive. Next time I will try a different hotel, the hotel is too expensive compared to what you get.

This is by far the worst experience ever! I’ve been in many other hotels in Shanghai and around the world, and is the first time that I come at 9pm and they don’t have my 2 rooms reservation for my family and they wanted to send us to different floors, even if we had our reservation booked months ago! (They had a Porsche conference with 200 attendees which apparently were more important than the other guests) Then they wanted to put as in the same floor very far away, or that we upgrade and pay more to have us in 2 rooms next to each other. They treated us as if we were retarded, totally disrespectfully. To make things even worse, they finally agreed to put us in 2 rooms next to the other, (at 10pm) they pretended that we wait even more because the room was not clean. We had to wait so long until they solved their problem (and only because we insisted and didn’t agree to their abuse). Now that we have the rooms, I can say they are nice but smell a bit moldy. The view is good because they upgraded us in order to fix their mess. One of the rooms only have a king bed so they put an additional bed which is very uncomfortable with a hard mattress, you can feel the springs. The layout of the room is a bit odd, the bathroom has very inconvenient sliding doors. Very sad and disappointing considering it’s a nice building with a good location. Just not worth all the hassle, I prefer the IFC residences where we had a great experience before.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
