The hotel was very nice and centrally located in the heart of downtown we stayed for our Christmas vacation. The front desk personnel was outstanding, along with the valet parking attendants. My girls enjoyed the pool on day 2-4. On day one the pool was cold but along with other children they did not mind. I was surprised to see many families with children like mine at this hotel! It was definitely a plus for us since most of the time my girls are the only children in the pools.

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt for 3 nights and 4 days! When arriving parking is $50 a night through valet that’s the only option they have. We chose to park on the street, we found pretty close parking spots on the street not to bad of a walk. When checking in Mrs. Worke was really amazing! She was so sweet, very professional! When we went to our room it wasn’t cleaned we went back downstairs and she was so apologetic! She gave us a different room with no hesitation and even came up to the room with us to assure this one was cleaned properly. She was the star of the show! Our room was a nice size very clean, big window for a lot of natural sunlight the view was of the street but I didn’t mind it cause you are in the city! They offer free breakfast every morning, and the way they have it set up is really nice!

Watch your credit card! This hotel added a credit card charge for complimentary parking after checkout. The hotel TWICE promised to refund the parking over the phone, but never did. Only 3+ weeks later, after getting Hyatt Corporate involved, did the hotel actually issue the refund. Note the hotel said TWICE that the refund is being issued while over the phone in spite of not actually issuing the refund. Be careful if you stay here to check for post checkout charges... I cannot say if the hotel is trying to do a money grab or is just incompetent, but either way, it is not a pleasant experience.

Great Stay. Affordable pricing. Comfortable beds. I stayed at the Hyatt Place Washington DC/Georgetown/West End for 3 nights/4 days. Originally checked into one room and relocated due to a broken faucet. Overall, the staff was great and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was ok and was the traditional hotel buffet offerings. I would absolutely stay here again and it’s reasonably close to Foggy Bottom Metro Station as I flew in and out of Regan and used the metro. I also walked to and from the monuments from the hotel but it’s a bit of a trek but doable.

Stayed here for two days in December 2023. And after a few weeks the deposit was not received so I called to check. The women operator that picked up the phone was absolutely rude, not patience and did not respect the customer. Hung up on the phone when I was giving my information and kept talking back when I called. Asked for her name and she was probably too embarrassed and hung up. I called on 4pm, 17th Jan 2024. Hopefully someone deal with this operator. I had never had such bad experience with customer service before and it definitely made me not want to return to this establishment anymore. She is absolutely horrible, she does not deserve to be working there.
