I am poor, only stayed one night and never expected to ever see such luxuries. The staff, are wonderful, very helpful and polite. The food was great. The room was exquisite. The downside: While I met some genuinely great human beings, the majority of people you will share the bar or dine with would sell their own mother into slavery for a buck or beat dogs for a laugh. From Russian oligarchs to Chinese businessman, the beasts in human clothing that stay here will leave you feeling off if you have a shred of human decency. Not all of them, as stated before have met some lovely people. Others treated the staff as lesser humans because they don't have the same $ attached to their name. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Edited ((thrice)- for the worse. With the best will of the world, and having frequented above 60 “5 star” hotels in the Pacific, I am not impressed. A room with a totally empty mini bar, a shower with no pressure, only 1 unsafe water boiler and a humid / sticky room feeling. A corporate rate of 210$ ++ deserves more. Yes, service is “friendly”, hence not always efficient , but the room , being it clean and quiet- is a total let down not carrying any consumables (and no, I don’t like to call room service to order just a bottle of sparkling water) The edits came after a very poor service at breakfast, getting COLD sunny side up eggs on day 1 (prepared way upfront). When requesting a pair of fresh baked ones, the effort needed seemingly was much asked for. The eggs Benedict on day 2 were honestly very good. Right combination. In-room dining : fries were served cold, salmon was not totally cooked and they forgot the bread basket. When the delivery boy found out , he tried to hide the butter.. 😔 sigh. Hyatt banner not worthy. Last stay.

Best service ever. The staff is simply amazing. They make every guest feel special and are relentlessly looking for ways to improve your experience. Kudos to the hotel management for achieving this level of excellence across all staff. I would score this hotel 6 star for service if I could. The rooftop restaurant and underground bar were also a highlight.

A couple of months shy of their two year anniversary since opening, the hotel has a very modern and updated feeling. The open air concept of the all-day food area, the Market Cafe, is stunning with lots of daylight, glass, a water fountain, very high ceilings and overall sense of spaciousness. Congratulation to the architect and designers on this stunning space! The breakfast is about as expected for this type hotel. I did not sample any other meals. The sky-bar on the top floor affords a great view and has an equally nice atmosphere. The suite I had booked was absolutely sound-proof and updated with the latest amenities, including automated nightlights. Service during my stay was exceptional and equally efficient. The hotel is next to the National Museum and easy walking distance to the Royal Palace and river front promenade. I did not visit any of the other hotels but some locals assured me that this is the best hotel in Phnom Penh. On any subsequent visits I would look forward to staying here again.
