I recently stayed at IBC Hotel from November 4th to November 8th, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. While the facility and cleanliness maintained by the hotel were commendable, it's disheartening that the unprofessional behavior of one staff member, Rachel, significantly tarnished the overall image of the establishment. Upon arrival, the receptionist, Rachel, displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. The check-in process was devoid of any greeting or smile, and the reaction to our request to store luggage was disproportionately unpleasant. Furthermore, seeking assistance for basic needs, such as the restroom password, was met with rude and unhelpful responses. Rachel's unresponsiveness and abruptness reached an unacceptable level on the third day when we found her in a room behind the counter. The most significant disappointment occurred on the last night when reporting issues with our toilet bowl. Rachel dismissed our concerns without proper investigation and refused to take responsibility. A request for two bottles of water, missed due to a "do not disturb" sign, was met with unprofessional questioning and unnecessary lecturing. These negative encounters sharply contrasted with the positive experiences with other staff members. Regrettably, this encounter has left me with a negative impression of both the hotel and, to some extent, Korea. I sincerely hope the management addresses these concerns for the benefit of future guests.

Maybe it's time to say goodbye to IBC. it used to be my favorite choice, which I stayed for at least 7 to 8 times in my previous visits to Seoul. the front desk staff were young and speaking fluent English, in addition to their passionate and professional attitude. Dec 29, 2023, was my first revisit to this hotel after covid (they charged hkd 1200/night, that's double of its usual price, but it's xmas period, it justified). things fell apart... the front desk became from a half floor to a small corner. I asked myself "what happened to this hotel?" the staff looked as if they didn't know English. I asked for a humidifier, but it didn't work. the front desk man finally came reluctantly and claimed it worked. actually only very little gas came out from the machine, like an almost burnt out candle. I showed him a picture how a NORMAL humidifier worked. he finally claimed that the hotel didn't offer humidifier, that machine was from his front desk office.....I would like to put forward his attitude was BAD and RUDE. you look at the staff quality, you will know how this organization is working. IBC is like the last days of an old man.

Room was clean and with the price, it’s a nice to stay. Be aware its not walking distance to the attractions. But they have big supermarket near by and shops. 👍

Came for a week and chose this hotel. I would say the quality/price ratio for this one is very good. Rooms are well equipped, WiFi connection is stable and fast. Very welcoming staff, during checkin I asked if I could get an iron, and a few moments later it was delivered to my room with an ironing board. The room is clean, sound isolation seems to be good as I don't hear neighbors even though bypassing cars outside could be heard. The air conditioner is a bit noisy when functioning but it's ok. It can be controlled remotely with the desired temperature. There's a 7/11 convenience store, Korean traditional restaurant on the ground floor. The breakfast is served on the 2nd floor with quite a decent and nice choice. Overall a good experience so far.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
