Good, not great. Recently spent two nights at this hotel. Bed was comfortable, staff were great and wifi was fast. The property is close to both the Custom House station and the IFS Cable Car, so getting around is easy. My window had a nice view of the Thames. I was in 649, and the room was *tiny* - But really, that’s to be expected on this side of the Atlantic so no surprise there, but be warned you’ll have to think carefully about little things like where you can put your suitcase! Yes, it's that small. But there were a handful of “gotchas.” The room came with two towels and a bath mat, but no washcloths, which was surprising – So if you want to wash your face you have to sacrifice the corner of your towel. (And strangely, even though there are no washcloths, there are two giant bathrobes, which I never touched. I suppose I could have used one of those as a face cloth.) The bed was comfortable but only had two pillows, so if you’re a couple and you each like two pillows under your head, you’ll need to call down in the hopes they have two more. Unlike many hotels, there was no safe in the room, so if you’re worried about your passport, laptop and other valuables you either have to take them with you when you head into town, or do your best to hide them. The size of the room means there’s nowhere to put your clothes away other than a small closet, but the closet only came with three coat hangers, so very little space to hang things up. A dozen coat hangers would be more appropriate. There’s also a small shelf in the closet, but it was the only place to ditch the giant bathrobes. So be prepared to live out of your suitcase on the floor. So overall, a perfectly acceptable place, but a few small changes would make the room much better.

Easy to find and easy to park. Great check in and comfortable room. a few housekeeping issues to look at such as the shower points out the wrong way and the hairdryer wire is so twisted it was hard to use. Apart from that it was a wonderful stay and the breakfast was outstanding

Good only for the location. And still not exceptional as there are more decent in the area. Not clean rooms, not clean towels, the room had a strange smell, very small space and bathroom was like being in a boat… Would not suggest neither for business nor pleasure.

I had a fantastic experience at the ibis London Excel! The staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The hotel's location, right next to the Excel Exhibition Centre, was perfect for my business trip, and it made getting around the city a breeze. 5 minutes walk to Excel Exhibition Center and 10 to the train station. The highlight for me, though, was the delicious breakfast offered at the hotel. A wide variety of options, including hot and cold choices, made for a great start to my day. I would highly recommend this hotel for its welcoming staff, prime location, and delightful breakfast.
