        Hotel IBIS Palmeraie is the worst IBIS that I have ever stayed in. When you enter the hotel, there is heavy smoke. Inside the hotel there is heavy smoke. I saw a person smoking in front of his room. The rooms are not very clean. They don't provide hand towels. They only provide one bath towel per person. There is also no hair dryer in the rooms. They have only one hair dryer at the reception. When you need it, you have to go to the reception to borrow the hair dryer, and return it after use. The rooms are falling apart. The most of the rooms in the basement and second floor are smoking. The first floor is non-smoking. We had to change our room three times. One of the rooms had a lot of ants everywhere. You can see them in my video. The hotel does not have enough parking space. There is a soil field next to the hotel, you have to pay 10 DHS per night to park there. I do not recommend this hotel. The pictures of the hotel do not tell the truth. I gave two stars to the workers. Karim and Fatima at the reception are nice people. The other workers are also polite and nice. So, I give two stars for them. The hotel deserves no star.

        I had a very good experience with this amazing hotel, it’s location, it’s well-equipped rooms, and most importantly its friendly and brilliant staff, I still remember that friendly n talented barman called Silim, his hospitality and kindness are impressive, I couldn’t stop my self to not write, to both the hotel and my Moroccan friend, a good comment.

        A very tired hotel in need of a complete reburb. Breakfast was a disaster with most items of food not available. Also no crockery or cutlery. TV remote in room broken and air con not working. Staff had little or no customer-focused aptitude. I have stayed in Ibis hotel in other countries and expect a satisfactory standard for a budget hotel but this one fell far short. One redeaming thing was that we had to vacate our hotel in the Medina because it was damaged in the 2023 earthquake. We booked the Ibis online and arrived early after no sleep for 24 hours because of the quake. The reception staff were very accommodating and we were able to have breakfast and get into our room by 10:30 to be able to catch a few hours sleep.

        Horrible experience, Ibis Palmeraie doesn’t even deserve half star. The condition of the rooms were very bad. Bed sheets, linens were dirty. Toilet was horrible. AC is not working, Internet is not working. Phone is not working. TV is not working. Ambience was very bad. the receptionist are careless and not good when it comes to communication especially the night team. And I got insects in my room.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
