        Beautiful hotel, but it's about a 30 minute bus ride minimum from the nearest subway station and there isn't much around the hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious, but the shower drained very slowly so I couldn't shower for too long. The breakfast and dinner had lots of food options, which was very nice because I'm a picky eater. The staff could speak multiple languages which helps a lot.

        I arrived 1.5h before the checkin time and they told me to wait, which I did, on a chair in front of the counter. 40 min before the checkin time, I noticed they were serving all new arrivals on the spot, while ignoring me. The bathroom had such a thick layer of mold and dirt on the shower metalic parts and on the toilet (see photos), indicating that it hadn't been cleaned for years. The local habit is for the cleaning staff to leave the sink caps turned upside down as a sign that they had cleaned them. The one in my sink was wraped in hairs. The double bed was very uncomfortable and higher in the middle. The shutters were broken and wouldn't slide. I couldn't sleep in any of the two nights spent there, because of someone stomping and thumping every few minutes, for hours on end. They must have been the staff. Then they placed everyone arriving on the same floor, which lead to lots of commotion, shouting on the corridor and repeated doors slamming till well past midnight, while the staff did nothing. The hotel is surrounded by highway ramifications and there's constant traffic noise.

        The hotel is old, so as the room and bathroom. Hotel staff was quite nice and kind, breakfasts were pretty good too, but monotonous. The floor in the room was sticky and dirty, despite that the housemaid was cleaning our room almost every day, it wasn’t very pleasant to stand on the floor without socks. The huge plus was the A/C, because the weather in Rome was 34-38 degrees, so it was lifesaving. Wi-Fi connection was bad, especially during our last days in the hotel, idk what was the reason. There were no teapot and fridge in the room - a huge disadvantage. But there was a TV in the room, however the management would have been better off spending money on a teapot and fridge instead. Location is not really comfortable - if you want to go to the city you need to change 3 buses, but it was our mistake to choose a hotel with this location.

        I hate to leave a poor score especially only 2 stars but our stay wasn't great. For one night it was over 100 euro, a lot considering its closer to the airport rather than the city. The rooms was quite run down - wallpaper peeling, curtain didn't close properly, no fridge, and it was very noisy outside. The bathroom also didn't seem very clean so I didn't want to have a shower. The bed was fine for 1 night and the staff were nice and friendly. But for an Ibis I expected a bit more.

        We happened to stay here for 2 nights..room was great and location is perfect for getting to the airport..however I was deeply disappointed by the staff at the reception desk, the lady at the evening desk was so very rude and failed to assist my queries..first the key card was not working and we had to walk back and forth to get it resolved on both the days. Then the wifi was not working and she was so rude and even failed to explain why it's not working and ended up showing her frustration on me..she just made me wait without bothering to answer my query. After checking with another staff i just left the desk. Even the lady at the bar was rude and seemed to be in hurry while we had our dinner. Not sure why the staff behavior was so bad that spoiled my trust on ibis rating this stay for 1 star only because of the staff behavior.
