        In need of a deep clean and renovation. I was happy enough with the hotel but unfortunately some staff made it an uncomfortable stay. I arrived late at night and asked at the front desk if there was any food still being served. They referred me to the bar which had a good menu for the time and seemed reasonably priced. I ordered some wine and a plate of pasta. I must have mispronounced something incorrectly or inadvertently said something amusing as the 2 waiters who were working began laughing. This continued for the next hour and I was left feeling horrible. Being in a different country and being laughed at by two people and not understanding why was not something I'd wish upon everyone. Instead of apologising and explaining this continued while I ate my meal. One of them even placed the plate down once it was cooked and then immediately began laughing and left again without saying a word. I left the bar area when the lights were turned out while I was still eating. It was an exceptionally rude experience and really soured my otherwise pleasant stay at the hotel. All other staff were helpful and friendly.

        Booked to be near to the Metro B line for Ryder Cup. Very pleasantly surprised. Location is often described as residential, it really isn’t. There’s a fabulous town centre just 5 minutes down. A really interesting Basilica with an impressive walkway up to it directly from the town or just a short walk away from the hotel - interestingly the bells chime out quite a full version of the Ave Maria at quarter to the hour. Hotel staff very helpful, food was excellent and a good bar.

        The Breakfast box consisted of jam, honey, a rotten apple, water and two crackers, a small croissant and juice. You had to spread the jam with your hands; there wasn’t even a napkin.( And this is in a 4-star hotel((. In addition, more was paid than stated in the application (in the cost line with all taxes). The hotel employee explained that the application shows the wrong price(

        First, let me say that the hotel is decorated very nicely. However there was no instructions as to how to work the AC or the TV. There was no full length mirror or any other mirror except in the bathroom. there was a decorative mirror on a art piece over the bed that required you to stand on the bed to use. We tried many times to adjust the AC with no luck. When we called the desk they said it was working and we could change rooms if we wanted. Due to the amount of luggage we chose not to. They then said they would turn the air on remotely. They did so and when we came back from dinner the room was freezing. We could not turn it off. We called the desk and they said they would do it remotely, which they did. We learned quickly that we had no control over our AC and that we had to call the front desk each time we wanted it on or off. They seemed annoyed by our requests. Insisting we could do it ourselves. We asked for someone to come and look at it in our room and show us how, but nobody came.

        Nice hotel in a quiet calm area. Ideal if you leave in the mornibg, spend the whole day in Rome and only come back at the end of the day. If you need or prefer to return to the hotel more often, tgen rqther choose another one.
