IC Hotels Green Palace - All inclusive

Let me start with the positives, the food is fresh and very good, it varied every day and items were replenished as soon as they run out. The outside areas and pools are lovely, and they are lots of activities especially for kids. However there were some significant concerns. Safety Issue: On our first night, there was a major safety issue with the crib they provided, it had two pieces of foam instead of a proper fitting mattress and our 10 month old daughter got stuck in the gap while sleeping. Thankfully I woke up when I heard her muffled cries. It is very irresponsible to offer these cribs, apparently safety is not a priority for this hotel. We informed them in the morning about this issue and they changed the mattress, however no explanation or apology was given. I do not understand why they initially put the cheap foam if they had a proper mattress available. Room Quality: The rooms were disappointing for a five-star resort. The decor was basic and outdated, and the absence of blackout curtains made it difficult to sleep. The curtains looked very cheap and thin. There was light pollution during the night and the room was flooded with light at sunrise. Additionally, the cooling system was ineffective in both of our rooms. Customer service: We were offered a room change as soon as we mentioned the above issues. However they were quite rude about this. We had decided to explore Antalya city centre that morning because obviously we weren't going to waste time waiting for our room to be ready. They called us at around noon and instructed us that we should not have left the resort and that we were supposed to leave our luggage in lobby. We were not informed about this in the morning. He then threatened us that they would cancel our room change if we don't return soon so we had to leave the city early and return to the hotel. Overall Experience: In comparison to other hotels during our two week trip in Turkey, this hotel was the least enjoyable, primarily due to the room quality and the safety issue on the first night. While the food and some staff members were commendable, the negative experiences overshadowed the positives. Take caution if booking this hotel, especially with young children.

Just got back from here. Had a lovely time. The hotel was very nice and large. The food was good and had a large variety of options. In the evening the main restaurant was ridiculously busy. So lots of long queues at the food stations. You have lots of food and snacks available throughout the day. So impressed with the amount of things you could have. You had fridges dotted around to help yourself to drinks, freezers to get yourself branded ice-cream. Coffee shop, snack bar. So lots to eat. The kids pool was great. The kids loved it. The water was warm and the area was clean. Kids club was OK but I wouldn't leave my kids alone there as I didn't feel it had alot for them to do. We had the quadruple room. Which was for my wife and two boys. The room was very small with two pull out Murphy beds. The bathroom was clean. Room could have been bigger. Very cramped for four people. The hotel had a taxi desk. When I arrived from the airport I paid £25 the taxi desk wanted to charge me £40 for the same 25min journey. I asked the hotel for the number for a different company they refused to give me a number. Found that very disappointing. I got a taxi from outside the hotel for £20. Be aware you will be overcharged for taxis. Definitely a nice place. Maybe get a bigger room if you go. Food was good and lots of options which changed daily.
