        Not as expected at all. Not only my room door but also my friend's, sometimes could be opened just by pushing it( without even using the key card) and some other times it could not be opened even with the card. The bathroom could be cleaner and the breakfast could be much better for its price. The location is pretty good. The heating horrible. Generally it's really not that bad BUT not for its price.

        This is an older establishment conveniently located to visit the old city and its miriad of monuments and sites worth visiting. The hotel only serves breakfast, it has no on premises restaurant, but you are in a good place to find all kinds of eateries, trattorias, cafés and restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, but date from an era where travelers would only need to plug in a shaver, leaving today's traveler scrambling to find an outlet for the cellphone and other gadgets to charge. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay

        Rooms are old and a little unclean! Beds are not comfortable at all! Only 2 bottles of water for your whole stay!!!! Regardless if you stay for 1 night or 10 nights! Breakfast is the exact same everyday with no variety whatsoever! The staff in the dining makes you feel like you are a burden! Elevators are horrible! Overall I would be ok if it was 50-70 euros a night and if they were 2 stars accommodation rather than 4! Because they are clearly not worth the 4 stars.

        First day we arrived we tried taking a shower and the water was brown and black pieces of sediment was coming out of the pipe, the water kept sputtering and eventually didn’t come out at all in the shower or sink. When speaking to the receptionist at the hotel that evening she spoke in a terrible attitude and was not helpful. We were told by members in our group that they were told the issue is fixed in the hotel and we should receive proper running water in an hour but unfortunately we didn’t get running water until the afternoon the next day. Decor was really outdated and no iron or board in the rooms. Did not feel comfortable eating breakfast there after the water situation.

        Hotel needs rescued - or will certainly sink 3.0 Liked · We checked in (three day stay)- Sat, Sun, Mon ---- we were expecting a four star hotel - First - the only restaurant was a buffet breakfast 7-10 or 11 am per day - ( buffet staff were friendly and food was ok - bread, pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs/bacon and cold meats) one coffee machine - but -- could buy a coffee for $3.5 euro -- the other restaurants was closed (so how anyone could room service?) and bar/cocktail lounge -- none - they had one (but no bottles of anything , obviously not open) - two lift/elevators - one elevator worked for entire hotel - and the working one was having door issues (popping open) . We booked economy room $284 US per night (NOT a 4* hotel -- 2* at best) - All the décor was dated (1980's) - and flooring in rooms not what appeared - it was a cheap Pergo floor (wood look - noisy) - bath had ceramic tile - nothing matched, the bedding also, not as expected (not like pictures) the room we had was $250 euro per night - we first checked into a room which was dirty (gum on floor, bedding, bath, dirty) asked for another room -- Fabio (the front desk mgr?) told us could show us another room - but would cost more - and would not tell us how much until we decided if wanted? - we decided other room was clean - looked no different - but had two more outlets -- beds were old, uncomfortable and pillows were like yoga mats (1.5" thick)... Fabio then insisted we pay additional $20 euro per night -- and would only give price of the new room after we said would take room (insane) he eventually gave in - when I told him we would cancell the other two nights if we had to pay $20 euro more per night .. NONE of the common spaces matched (paint, carpet, colors, etc.) They had no concierge - who would help except - ONE a woman named Katya - who was amazing, nice and should be running hotel - she needs to find another place to work -- as this hotel seemingly is a sinking ship - they need rescued.... Disliked · Read review - in addition to that - extremely dated -- we stayed three nights -- they had left one small bottle of water in room - for coffee maker - when I called and asked for another (we stayed three nights - same price each night -- $250 euro - was told we were allowed one bottle of water per stay - regardless of length of stay LOL -- This was October 2023 -- Probably the hotel has gone under by now...
