I've been staying here for the last few visits to Tokyo. It's relatively cheap compared to other hostels. The rooms are nice and each bed has a curtain for privacy but I wish they had individual lockers for each bed. You can rent a locker in the common rooms but in my opinion they aren't large. The spaces are always clean and the staff has always been very helpful. Location is pristine if you're looking to be close to drinking hubs (Golden Gai is literally a 5 min walk from here). Overall I keep coming back here for a reason, that being it's cheap, convenient, and location is good.

If you are traveling solo, or with a very small group of friends, I would definitely recommend staying here. Both times I stayed, I was in one of the 10 bunk rooms. Beds were good for what they were. Rooms were accessed via a code that was put onto a card which was given to you. The location is top notch with Golden Gai being a 3 to 4 minute walk to the east, as well as other various bars in Naka Street to the south. A convenience store as well as a small supermarket are also a minute walk away to the west and south respectively, with a larger supermarket further down the street to the west. If you're having a longer stay, there's a laundromat about 4-5 minutes away to the northeast. Also the staff at Imano Tokyo Hostel were very kind and helpful throughout the entire time. Take advantage of the happy hour they have, the ume sour was wonderful. Only real complaint that I could have would be that the wood on the bunk above you may creak a bit if you have someone above you struggling to get comfortable.

Excellent location and great value for the price. The rooms & bunks were clean and comfortable, with plenty of space, and the bathrooms were clean. It says that there is a bar downstairs, but the sleeping areas are very quiet; I didn't hear any noise. Beds and sheets are very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a women-only floor, where rooms had only six bunks each. Staff was very accommodating and I appreciate that they held my luggage for two days while I went to climb Fuji. Easy walk from Shinjuku Station and very close to spa/baths Thermae-Yu. A great base for exploring Tokyo and surroundings!

Everything about this hostel was great and we liked it so much that we extended our stay. - Super location near to Shinjuku station and Golden Gai. - Plenty of common space to chill out in and meet other guests - there’s a cafe/bar on the ground floor as well as sofas, tables and chairs on every other floor. - Clean bathrooms and dorm room. - Comfortable beds. - Friendly staff. - Substantial breakfast (panini and potato wedges + coffee/juice). Suggestions to management: - Add hooks in shower rooms and bins in the dorm rooms - Fix the tumble dryers - Provide different breakfast options to suit guests staying for several days.

This place was honestly amazing for the location, like S tier, ONLY reason it received a 4 star is because the beds were absolute garbage, and the rooms all creak when you rotate around, the lights for some reason are at the very back where your head rests so every time you just need a light on, you gotta crawl all the way in to turn it on or off. It was clean, they come everyday to clean up, bathrooms spotless, toilets heated(holy this felt amazing), a block from a 7-11. They got happy hour draft beers for like 400yen at imano from 5-7pm I think it was. Solid

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
