        Excellent room, really new and clean. 11th floor has an incredible view. Easy check in and really nice looking hotel. Near to the metro (Amsterdam Zuid) and 5 stops into central station. Cracking hotel and a brilliant find. Loads of places to eat close too. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast is a bit pricey but the roof bar and restaurant is unbelievably good 😍🥂

        We stayed only for a night. Some things to think about: The design of the room is quite compact but needs improvement. There is nowhere near the vanity to plug in a curling iron or electric shaver. The hairdryer is fastened in the vanity drawer but the outlet is not accessible for another bathroom appliance to be used. The size of the room is more on the small side I'd say. The bathroom is in the main room with fogged glass. This is quite awkward and the bathroom design doesn't feel private. The cafe on the first floor has very limited take away snack items. We did not eat all day and wanted just a quick in-between meal like a bag of chips or fruit. Most hotels would have a small convenient like item. For instance they have nuts, but I am allergic and no other bagged items. The bathroom was not properly cleaned and we had to ask room service to come up and do it. The toilet was stained from the previous customer! That left a bad taste from the start and my husband wondered if other BIG cleaning details are left throughout. This was enough to probably ask for a refund! The view is fine but facing the other hotels and not the center. It's very close to the metro that takes you directly to the center. Also, the room was a touch cold even if the heater. We programmed it but it never quite got comfortably warm in the night. The duvet is also quite on the thinner side. EDIT: The hotel response was not adequate and never mentioned the poor cleaning of the bathroom.

        I visited Amsterdam for one day and chose to stay here for the one night. The ability to check in via the Melia app was very convenient (even though I waited too long to get it done and missed it). No worries though because I had a great experience checking in at the front desk. The staff at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. It was great to come in to as I have had a long journey traveling. The lobby of the location was clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. My room was just as great and clean as well. The shower was amazing and had eucalyptus and peppermint body wash and shampoo in there for use! The bed was soooo comfortable and I had no issues sleeping. There is a small mini bar in the fridge that was stocked and other amenities such as a comfy robe, slippers, hair dryer, etc. I had such a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again if I find myself in Amsterdam again!

        Good location, very near / walking distance to the metro. Only 15 min away (4 stops) from the central. Minibar was complimentary and replenished daily with 3 small juices, 1 small still and 1 small sparkling water. Only comment I have is that they had 2-in-1 conditioning shampoo instead of separate shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo was abit too dry. Something to take note of.
