        Intercontinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur is an absolute five-star gem! From the moment I stepped in, the experience was top-notch. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like royalty, always with a warm smile and ready to assist. They also upgraded me to a Club Member and gave me free access to its amenities. The location is prime, making it convenient to explore the city. Whether it's shopping or cultural sites, everything is within reach. The facilities, including the pool and fitness center, are top-notch.

        Mixed feelings on this place. Starting with the positives, most staff members were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was excellent in quality. Negatives were that the room was looking very tired and in need of a full refresh (two power outlets didn’t work, mold in the bathroom, dull carpet). We also filled the bath with water for our son but discovered that the water color was brownish. Staff communication skills were poor as we had multiple instances where they couldn’t understand our requests. It also felt a little bit unusual to have been constantly asked about providing reviews for the hotel - it’s not something you’d expect from what is supposed to be a five star hotel and reminded me of what door to door salesmen are like. We were also not informed about the renovation work going on in the pool area. Furthermore, we were misquoted the price for an airport transfer (told RM165 but was RM215). Location was 50/50. You’re close to downtown and public transport but there are numerous (but harmless) homeless folk hanging out in the street in front. Saw a fair amount of trash on the sidewalk.

        The biggest king beds in Asia. A hotel which always delivers high quality service, great on property dining with vast set of options, wonderful breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Highly recommend upgrading to the Club Lounge experience. Lounge Manager Farrah, her staff and Harry H. will ensure you have a relaxing and pleasant time at the lounge. Breakfast, tea and evening canapés are within a beautiful lounge on the 26th floor with an abundance of seating.

        Had a night stay over with family. System is down however as I have booked earlier and paid so everything went smoothly. Staffs are great, friendly. Overall I am happy with the services. Got a wine and chocolate too in the room. Room is decorated well with the swan. Wasn’t expecting anything.

        Honestly, the service is fantastic, especially people at the club lounge. The tall gentleman with glasses would even remember my name throughout my stay. The lounge itself is spacious and not crowded. The food is decent but they offer lots of drinks. My in room dining came in less than 20 minutes which is amazing. However, the room itself is just .. sad. I knew this was an old hotel, but I still couldn’t help to be disappointed. - Sink faucet water kept dripping even though I turned it off - Toilet clogged easily - Lights turned on in the middle of the night which is scary, but it’s probably a connection issue or something - AC barely worked. I lowered it to 16 degrees but it felt like 26 no matter what I did. I wasn’t able to sleep for the last night - When the AC did work, it was noisy - Rooms are dated but somewhat renovated but due to that, it didn’t feel that clean - Mini bar was almost non existent - Internet was slow. Even disconnected an audio call once - Conditioner smelled weird and I can definitely say it is weird because I stayed in IC Osaka two days prior and they were using the same brand but smelled completely different - Location is meh. It’s close to the twin towers but still wouldn’t walk there. Every restaurant area is like 7 minutes away so not super close and the area felt kinda dead Staying at Crowne Plaza would probably be a better choice next time once their lounge opens up next month.
