Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms and toilets. The palce is VERY QUIET and it's right in the center of Thamel. Prices are fine. Breakfast (included) is small but good.

An okay hotel located just on the side of Thamel, a good location for quite area of Kathmandu, however the facilities lack, for the price you pay it is okay, but what was advertised on the website was incorrect when we were at the room, the room was okay had all the basics part from shower products, no AC, just a fan, beds were uncomfortable.

nice place at the edge of Thamel, quiet with spacious amenities like gardens and patios, as a shop in shop is a little family run cafe with good coffee and homemade cakes and pastries, very close to plenty of outdoor shops and upper level cafes, would stay there again

What a great ambiance! It's tucked away from the hustle of Thamel, with bhodi trees, and Buddha statue motifs carved into mahogany wood walls. It feels like you're entering a warm, dark Newari temple. Very Indiana Jones, almost romantic. The dining area opens to a stone courtyard with "artifact"-like vases and stone bhudda statues collecting dust on wooden shelves, connecting to an open cafe with terra-cotta tiled floors. A light jazz is playing there and you can relax w a book, while the monsoon rains drip off the tiled roofs. Rooms are clean, firm beds, good water pressure and temp, flush toilet w TP. Doors/locks are sturdy. I've only had chicken curry for dinner, but it was excellent and I thought it was well-priced. Breakfast is included and is buffet style w yogurt, fruits, cereals, boiled eggs or omelette, toast, tea and instant coffee. Front desk staff are service oriented and namaste me every time I walk by. Fast wifi, but the power goes out occasionally (street level problem), and it takes a minute for wifi to come back up. The only other slight downside is you have to cross a fairly busy street w mopeds and taxis to get into Thamel proper. But you'll be dodging mopeds everywhere in Thamel. I would 100% stay here again if I came back to Kathmandu.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Special discounted rates provided by the hotel are non-refundable. In case of cancelling any such booking, user will not get any refund in return.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Please be informed that your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
