        It’s terrible!!! The air conditioning doesn’t function at all and it’s unbearable hot and stuffy in the rooms + the loud noise from the street make it impossible to fall asleep! The mini fridge didn’t work too. And the host of the guesthouse is actually pretty nice but when we arrived she texted us that she’ll be there in 10min to let us in but we had to wait for her literally 1 hour. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.😭

        Our stay has been terrible. The reasons are the following: - When we arrived the person supposed to welcome us barely said hello and directly asked for our ID cards and the paiement of the tax fee. There wasn't any hospitality, we were really surprised. - The fridge in our room didn't work. - There is an adorable little terrace but we couldn't really enjoy it because you can't have access to it all the time. My friend made a call in the evening at 11pm to his girlfriend (he was alone on the terrace just talking on the phone) and the next day we received a text mentionning that we can't go on the terrace after 10pm.. Following this event, they wrote a message on the wall "please do not access the terrace after 10pm". Moreover, there are notes everywhere mentioning that you have to keep quiet, that you can not put music in your own room...You are supposed to be on holiday and relax and they put a very stressfull atmosphere. - Last but not least, the last day we asked to put our luggage somewhere after the check out. They said that we could leave it only until 3pm and not later although the reception is supposed to be open from 3pm to 10pm.. I didn't really get it. At 3:20pm they called us and the woman was shockingly disrespectful. She said that we have only 10 minutes left to arrive otherwise she is going to leave and we won't be able to retrieve our luggages.. I tried to explain to her that we got lost and that we were really sorry and she replied "that's not my problem"... I have to admit that I have been really shocked.. To conclude, it was a really really bad experience. I don't recommend to anybody !!

        A good place if you're looking for cheap with a private bathroom. Balcony yes, but you're not allowed to smoke there which you often can at other places. Noise from the street and metro rumbling. Nice and beautifully designed room. Super friendly staff.

        My girlfriend and I spent a few days in your accommodation "guest house Le jardines" in room R6 and we are very dissatisfied and displeased. When we arrived on the first day, we found flying ants next to and on our bed and normal ants on the floor. We didn't think much of it at first, even though we were already kinda disgusted. Before the third night, however, we found a huge cockroach in our bathroom. We were very shocked, also because the room service was supposed to clean our room every day (and we always left our room before 11am) FInally such a thing should never happen. We wrote the official phone number of your accommodation in the same evening. When we finally reached someone the next morning, we were told that these bugs were coming in through the bathroom window. However, we never opened the window during our stay. We rather think that it comes from the many leaks in the room and bathroom. Among other things, especially from the huge hole behind the toilet, which was stuffed with tissues and toilet paper. We also found several other holes in the floor and in the wall (for example under the sink) in our room. We were also told by an employee that such insects are very common in Barcelona and that it is nothing unusual, especially on the streets, in metro stations and alleys, but my girlfriend and I spent four days in Barcelona, saw many parts of the city but nowhere, not even near trash cans or somewhat dirtier quarters could we discover ants, flying ants or even cockroaches. No other vermin either. Which is why it is additionally very contradictory for us that this occurred exactly in our room/accommodation. We made three small requests, only one of them was taken into account. Room service did not get back to us regarding the removal of the cockroach and when we wrote them, again we received no reply. We even called the number a few times to ask if the cockroach had been found, or removed. We were then told that we would be called back in 5-10 minutes, again this did not happen. We already felt very uncomfortable at the beginning because of the small insects, but the climax was finally reached by the big cockroach. Also the floor was never cleaned during our stay and our requests regarding the cockroach were not answered. Finally, we were not even informed if it was removed or not and the door of the leaking bathroom was just left open. There was no quiet minute to relax as the living conditions posed a significant and permanent health hazard and great disgust. We are very dissatisfied with the hygiene of your accommodation and also the service is an absolute impertinence.

          Modification and Reschedule Policy
