Location and room are ok. But front desk service is super lousy. Unable to find our booking and make wait 3 hours before the booking magically appear in their system. Staff were the least apologetic and have a can't be bothered attitude. This type of service expected to be a 5 star hotel? Would have given it a 1 star if not for location a decent room size.

Beware: do not do your laundry here. Not only is each item individually packaged in plastic upon return, super wasteful, the prices are INSANE. We sent what we thought was 1 load of laundry and erroneously did not check the prices. The total came out to be 200+ USD!!! Each tshirt cost 8$ and underwear 3$. $200 USD for ONE load of laundry. I wouldn't expect dry cleaning to cost this much and definitely did not need or want each item individually wrapped. Huge mistake. Never again. Speaks to how this hotel is run.

Great hotel! Good service and prices. Across the street from a Metro station. Rooms are nice and roomy, and facilities are well maintained. Has a bar fridge and electronic safe. Includes an LCD TV as well. Has a DND light switch, or clean my room switch, and strong chain lock for added privacy. The staff speak English well, and are very helpful. They will call a cab for you if you have an early flight. The cab however did not take Alipay, only WeChat pay, which was a little strange. We just paid in cash which was fine, but something to check before taking the ride if you plan to only use Tourpass. Also, always ask for a receipt if you're taking a cab, as there have been reports or some scams. I recommend this hotel if you're staying in Shanghai.
