You are able to get 2 station stamps at the station master office - one from the red line and blue line each. The station master office is outside of the gantry, so you will have to tap out. The toilet is located on the outside as well.

Small station. The elevators to the platform are at the end with not much room, so if there are people waiting for the trains, there is barely any space left to enter or exit the elevator.

It opened in April 1938, at the same time as the extension of Line 1 (Midosuji Line) from Namba to Tennoji. In May 1942, Line 3 (Yotsubashi Line) opened between Daikokucho and Hanazonocho, and became the starting station for the Yotsubashi Line. After that, the Yotsubashi Line was extended from Hanazono-cho to Kishisato in 1955, and extended to Tamade in 1955, and continued to extend southward, so at that time the Yotsubashi Line had the image of being a branch line of the Midosuji Line. It was established. However, in October 1965, the line was extended northward from Daikokucho to Nishi-Umeda, and the line was recognized as the Yotsubashi Line, independent of the Midosuji Line. The Midosuji Line platform was built with an 8-car configuration in anticipation of the future when it first opened in 1931, so when the Midosuji Line became a 10-car train from 1995, the platform was built in the Namba direction in 1988. The line was extended by 34m. From the north to the south and from the south to the north, you can transfer between the Midosuji Line and the Yotsubashi Line on the same platform, which is very convenient. It is a very lively town with shops and restaurants nearby, including Kizu Market.

This is an excellent station that allows you to transfer from the Midosuji Line to the Yotsubashi Line by just walking a few meters on one platform. However, you need to be careful. Trains running on the Midosuji Line are basically 10-car trains. The Yotsubashi Line is basically a 6-car train. Therefore, it is very convenient to transfer between the two stations facing each other. If you ride in a place that is out of place, you will walk a lot. It's also narrow, so if there are a lot of people, you won't be able to make it in time to transfer. If you are heading towards Umeda, take the train at the back of the Midosuji Line.
