        I tried to reserve a place for Jan 2024. Their site advertised $507 - but when you go to book price jumps 30%. I tried to chat and email - chat came back an hour or two after I messaged them. Refused to honor the advertised price. I then looked here and found the other reviews with "No hot water" and many last minute cancellations. Feel like I dodged a bullet. I hope more people look at the reviews - or better yet the company improves it's integrity.

        I've been to Lisbon and Porto a few times for work and I've always stayed with ALTIDO. The team is available 24 hours a day for any queries you may have, the apartments I stayed in were exactly like the photos and the cleanliness of the properties has always been impeccable. I definitely recommend ALTIDO to all of my family and friends.

        I used Altido to manage my property in Italy. They are ok and did try but the company certainly only want to manage properties in major cities and towns, where they can make the largest margins due the economies of scale. Although my property is in a popular ski town, they obviously didn’t feel they were getting the margins they wanted and that the logistics were difficult so they cancelled my contract with them without any support to finding a new property management company. For this reason I could not recommend this company and would look elsewhere for a property management company.

        Terrible experience in London. We rented a very expensive unit in Marylebone for four nights. We had no hot water for three nights and their fix on the fourth night provided us with only water that was scalding, dangerously hot. They were unresponsive to our requests to help by phone, email and social media until Amex became involved.

        *UPDATE* - We were refunded for the one night stay we lost out on. Mirela was great! Happy with this outcome. As a frequent Airbnb client, I was disgusted by how we were treated by our hosts “Altido”. We arrived to the property and checked in easily. We left our bags in the room and went to explore Milan for the day. When we returned in the evening (9:30pm) we accidentally, by some freak accident, dropped our keys in a grate in the street in front of the property. We couldn’t reach them. Naturally our first instinct was to call the Altido number. It takes you through to a call center - not even based in Italy - with rude staff who told us there was nothing they could do as it was out of hours. We were shocked - surely they must have an emergency procedure for when things like this happen?! We were two women alone stranded at night in a country where we didn’t speak the language, without our passports and with dying phone battery. We continued to call the company back and explained how desperate we were but they, continuing to be rude, refused to help us. Luckily we were near a police station where they explained that locksmiths were unlikely to be operating at night and advised us to stay in a hotel. We had no choice but to pay out of pocket to stay in a hotel for the night. The next morning they only arrived with new keys at 11am, still being rude and unapologetic. They would not even accept our request for a one night refund. We are disgusted and will never use this company again. The flat itself was covered in hair and had a distinctly unpleasant smell particularly in the bathroom. Can not stress how much I would not recommend this property or this company! Save yourself time, energy and money and look elsewhere!!
