        Prime location and brilliant room! Just be cautious you are near a train line. 😉 My only gripe is upon arrival be asked to download a rewards app or I would have my initial payment cancelled and a new payment with an extra ¥2000 extra taken from my account. I don't know what any of that was about, but when you have just flown 6000miles and have been up for over 30hrs, you don't need it. You just want the bed you paid for in advance and confirmed for. It was incredibly distressing and worrying at a time when I just wanted to be happy.

        If you are not from Japan and are not used to the constant noises from trains flying past the nearby station, along with smoking rooms even though you are not a smoker, then avoid at all cost. I was informed they were out of non smoking rooms even though my booking specifically stated non smoking. And as an asthmatic, this is an absolute no.

        Everything was great is really close to a Akihabara station which has pretty much every public transport service available Breakfast is ok, mostly designed for the salarymen which seems to be this hotel primary customer. Only complain is the air conditioner requiring a spare card, I understand the need to save electricity but last week summer's hot was just brutal.

        I stayed here for 1 night Location: 4/5 The hotel was a 10min walk from Akihabara Station. Rooms: 3/5 The room was a typical business hotel style i.e. rather small with amenities on the Ground Floor. Amenities provided were decent. The air-con in the room had a weird smell coming out of it when set to the cooler mode. I had to switch it to the warm mode to not smell the smell Staff: 4/5 The staff were typical of the Japanese customer service you’ll expect. There was a staff who was clearly a foreigner who could speak good English. Good for travellers who prefer English-speaking staff. Value for Money: 3/5

        I stayed in Via-Inn Akihabara on the 5th and 7th August 2023 . I would like to commend and express my heartfelt gratitude to hotel staff Narita -san (成田) and Naiya-san (内野) who worked at the front desk reception . Their professionalism and politless exemplify the Japanese hospitality and politeness and make me feel at home. On the 8th August 2023 morning , I tried to get a taxi to Haneda airport , but due to rush hour we could not book a taxi to the hotel . Narita-san went out of the way and help me with my luggage (I have 40+kgs worth of luggage) and walked me out to the main road to help me flag a taxi . I was hearten by Narita-san gesture as she went all out of the way to help me , and went beyond her duty, not to mention her great politeness . Probably you won't find any hotel staff will to go this length to help , and Narita-san went all the way to help me ! Once again thank you for everything ! ありがとう ございます
