        JW Marriott still very much has a quarantine feeling. We arrived, the concierge was lovely and checking went smoothly unfortunately the two rooms we booked were meant to be next to each other where quite a distance apart. The TV didn’t work and the rooms were incredibly dark and the decor has not been updated in a very long time. You can also hear the rooms next to you. The dinner ordered through room service was also not very good costing 38 dollars for a basic burger. The pool facility was nice but the spa was out of order and the pool temperature was very cold. Buffet breakfast was Billy basic definitely one of the worst we have experienced in Auckland. The waitress was constantly clearing around us whilst we were trying to eat. Not worth money unfortunately.

        We're staying 4 nights at the start of our tour of NZ. Our room is spacious and well stocked. Bathroom has a shower and separate tub. The lobby renovation is complete and the breakfast buffet has everything you could want, cold and hot. Easy walk to shopping ( including a grocery store and pharmacy if you forgot something) and the harbor. Take a guided walking tour to stay awake on your first day. You'll learn a lot about Auckland and know where to eat.

        Amazing , just arrived and staff give the five star treatment . Feel like a queen , nothing is too much trouble for the guests. Highly recommend, if you love quiet luxury and pampering . Just the ticket after an exhausting Christmas period. Loving everything. Perfect romantic getaway .

        I really enjoyed my stay here. The Rooms were beautiful. I really appreciate Mr. Dave Oliver for reaching out to me to make sure my stay was pleasant which it was. The breakfast was delicious, a good variety of everything!! even my sunny side eggs was perfect. Only 25 minutes from the airport. The beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this place!!!

        The rooms were beautiful and had enough room for all of our unnecessary packing. The location was superb by being right in the cbd but felt quiet. The pool and hot tub were thoroughly enjoyable. They could absolutely use a larger luggage room as it seems everyone was storing luggage and was overflowing. Would give the bartenders some extra training as a simple negroni seemed rather difficult (I take my cocktails rather seriously). The location is new and I believe that within time they will iron out all the kinks.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
