Top business hotel as one would expect of JW Marriott, with friendly and professional staff, very convenient if visiting the new OH Bay complex and the ferris wheel. However, it is quite far from the nearest metro station and the nearest mall, Uniwalk. Most guests seem to be business people with their transport waiting at entrance ! I must give a special thanks to the concierge (or the transport manager). When I queried about how to get to Uniwalk, he told me that there was a complementary hotel shuttle at xx time. When the shuttle failed to turn up, after about 10 min, he ordered me a DiDi taxi on hotel's expense, absolutely amazing customer service ! It turned out that it was only about a kilometre or 20-minute walk, but it was a most welcome gesture in the 35°C heat.

Nobody speaks English. Guests/customers smoke in the bathroom, even in the executive lounge… food at the buffet is not fresh, taste questionable. Better order à la carte.

This hotel is awesome…. I travel to China quite frequently. This hotel has all of the business and social amenities you can ask for. Staff is very hospitable. Very very clean hotel. The pool is the largest pool I have seen for a business hotel. The views from the Tom are also very nice overlooking the bay.

Among the Marriott affiliates in Shenzhen, the satisfaction level is the worst. Breakfast buffet is too noisy. Because it is near the airport, it is crowded with too many people. The room is spacious but the room condition is not good. There is a musty smell in the room. I only used one room, but looking at other reviews, it seems that the room smells. Ocean view is nice, but that's all.

Excellent hotel with almost no complaints. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, and clean and the staff is generally helpful. The fitness center is large and has everything you would expect for cardio and weight training along with fitness instructors. Breakfast is very good (though not the best I've seen for 5* hotels in China). Only complaint is the strange billing requirement of the restaurant for dinner where the waiter has to go downstairs to verify your deposit, the service overall in the Chinese restaurant is a bit dodgy too but the food is decent. From my understanding that restaurant is outsourced but shouldn't be on a separate system that causes guests to wait 15 minutes to pay the bill.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
