This place is awesome! Stayed for 3 nights and loved everything about it. The staff is very friendly and polite, the space is super cool, and the location is great. There are only a few hotel rooms on the 5th floor, but each one is unique and carefully designed. When you check in, you get to pick an artwork from the front gallery to be displayed in your room during the stay. The basement and first floor hold several art installations and artworks. The 2nd and 3rd floors are where the artists reside and work. The fourth floor is the hostel space, and the 5th floor has the hotel rooms. Our room was very clean and spacious. It included an AC unit, a dehumidifier, a mini fridge, a kettle, a speaker (for playing music), and a projector to watch movies or tv. Also, the bed was really comfortable. It is not a traditional hotel, but in my opinion it’s much better! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Kyoto

Very cute Hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful. Design is very essential but comfortable to the maximum. Its located near the wholesale market, nice to get a different glimpse of real japan. They were very helpful for my late check in. I will definitely come back again!

Wonderful hotel owner!!! This place is filled with enormous art ideas, as well as supreme hospitality. Every single detail is so finely articulated that will make you come back again. The hotel is clean and unique, it is everything, the atmosphere, the people, the service, the details, the cleanliness, that will bring customers back, again and again. I will sure come back. Feel so comfortable staying here, listening to music, having coffee, in my own niche room.

I love this place as a staff I've met so many wonderful people here through my job. There are a lot of art-hotels out there, but if you're looking for communications, talking to artists, seeing the different side of Kyoto. This is the place for you. Come stay at Kagan and check out the local part of the city. ( Plus we're serving delicious curry every Friday and Saturday)

🎨Kashi Hotel 📍Kyoto Uraumekoji (8 minutes walk from Umekoji Kyoto West) An art hotel in Ura Umekoji I went to “Kashi Hotel”✨️ This time ・Superior twin room I stayed at 📝 Kawagishi Hotel is an art hotel where young artists live together and create works day and night. In addition to the hotel, it is a complex facility that also includes a gallery, atelier, hostel, and a share house for artists. Art works were also exhibited in the basement. What is surprising is the silent room. I wasn't able to take any photos, but there was also a fully-protected silent room that you could use for streaming and concentrating! There are also a lot of books, so you can take them to your room. . . . The rooms on the 5th floor are made of stylish concrete. You can choose your favorite art to decorate your room✨️It's so wonderful. There is a sofa, but we recommend relaxing on the floor ☺️ It was a relaxing space that felt like home! You can watch Amapura on TV, so we can wrap ourselves in a blanket and have a movie night at night 🎥 The room I stayed in this time had only a shower room without a bathtub. Apparently there are some rooms with bathtubs, so please request them 🙋‍♀️ Amenities were well stocked, including basic items such as makeup remover, face wash, and lotion. Coffee and water are also available. There is a small kitchen so you can use the microwave and boil water! It's concrete, so it's a bit cold in winter, but there's a stove for heating, so don't worry. Anyway, everything was fashionable, and for someone like me who loves art, it was a pretty exciting space 💕 I really liked the room so I would like to go there again ☺️ . . .

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
