        I used it for 2 nights and 3 days. It was a corner of a townhouse where people actually live, so it really felt like I was living in Kyoto. It was an inn that I couldn't afford unless I used Goto, but I was able to spend a very good time this time. ◯Room It had been renovated and felt clean. Especially the water area was new. The floor plan, doors, stairs, cupboards, etc. felt old in a good way. I was worried about the cold, but once I turned on the heater I didn't feel it at all. I really want to stay in an old townhouse! For some people, the interior may feel a little new. I want to feel the atmosphere of a townhouse! I think it's perfect for those who say so. We were able to fully enjoy the townhouse. ◯Service There is a reception located a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station, and check-in and explanations were easy to understand. When I made a request regarding amenities during my stay, they were very responsive. At check-in, each person was allowed to leave their luggage with us, so we were able to travel light from the first day. I was very grateful that my luggage was delivered to my townhouse. ◯Location It was a very good location, just a few minutes walk from Shijo Kawaramachi Station, within walking distance to Nishiki Market, and there was a supermarket just a short walk away. The entrance was a little hard to find, but the lady at the reception gave me detailed directions, so I didn't get lost. This is a great property with everything within walking distance, but since you have to walk everywhere, it may not be suitable for people who have a hard time getting around or who want to take time off from the station or bus stop. I think people who don't mind walking will enjoy their stay. ◯Others ・You will be warned at the reception, but due to the structure of the building, you are not allowed to make any noise, such as shouting or moving around. Have a good time drinking with your friends! I think it's tough. It gives the impression that it is for people who want to spend a relaxing time. ・The bathtub in the bathroom is spacious! You can stretch your legs. However, the washing area is a little small. However, it's just that if someone tries to come in or out while one person is washing, it can be a little fidgety. I didn't feel that much of a problem. ・Most amenities were provided, but no nightwear. Let's bring it. It seems that some amenities are no longer available for rental due to coronavirus countermeasures (such as nail clippers). It was a very pleasant stay. thank you very much.

        This is a very convenient inn with a great location! Even though I played in Shijo until late at night, I was able to walk home with peace of mind, and the room was clean and warm! This is the townhouse where I want to stay every time I travel to Kyoto. The bed was very comfortable and I fell asleep. One thing that bothered me was that the bathtub was so large that it took a long time to fill up with hot water. I also felt that the temperature of the hot water was low. The bath system was difficult, but I was comfortable in it, so it was no problem! I would definitely like to go again.

        I'm satisfied. An old townhouse has been completely renovated into a modern Japanese facility. The neighbors also greet you casually and make you feel as if you live there. Moreover, it was in a perfect location, just a short walk from Nishiki Market and the Gion area. We only stayed for one night, but you can stay there for a long time, and it's quite a luxurious space, so the price is reasonable. At this time, I was glad that I was using GOTO for half the price, but the regular price would be fine for one or two nights, but I don't think it would be possible for me to stay for a long time. I would definitely like to use other machiya houses on another occasion.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
