Except for the staff, this was easily the worst experience I have had in a hotel. The entire building smelled (strongly) of trash and sewer that was being covered up by cleaning product and air freshener. The floors were constantly sticky, the doors to the rooms had a 2" gap at the bottom (not great for privacy or security), the windows were essentially not there. Street noise was audible through earplugs and with a sound machine on at full volume. Finally, there was a fire alarm that went off for ~2 min every night. After it went off, it beeped every 5 seconds until someone came and changed the battery.

How loud is it? I slept with 2 white noise machines blasting, ear plugs in, pillows over my head and still heard music and vibration until 2 am. Additionally, it’s just a gross lipstick on a pig place. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

It’s really airbnb like. You have a mini apartment. Access to the facility was safe, secure, and easy. The location was amazing. Having a washer/dryer was nice for a long stay. They offered all amenities one would need; plates, cups, microwave, stove, soap, laundry detergent, wifi and the ability to chromecast. It was amazing and i recommend.

Anyone leaving negative reviews of this place clearly didn’t do their research. This location is in the heart of the entertainment district in Gaslamp. It is surrounded by noise and nightlife. We celebrated a 21st birthday and we had a wonderful stay. Perfect size and location for my girlfriend and myself. This is not a business hotel or a place for kids. More Airbnb style, but again we loved it. A/C here is amazing, bathroom and shower was nice compared to more expensive hotels. Sound machine was a nice provided touch if you wanted to drown out some noise. The app and check in process was smooth and simple. We had no issues getting in the building or our room. Only reason I don’t leave 5 stars is because parking and toting your bags across the city was a pretty much figure it out situation. Other than that we had a great time and saved a ton of money compared to the local competition.
