        I came to La Monarca hotel from 17-24 Jan and I would say it was a mixed experience. At first I arrived and that same day around 4 pm there were horrible construction sounds and I had read in previous bad reviews about the same thing, and the Hotel responded they would let guests know about construction in the future so they would be aware; well they didn’t let me know… but luckily the next days it stopped (because I work from home) That same day as well the shower rod just fell out of nowhere while I was showering and it hit my leg, which was painful and unfortunate. After some trying I managed to tighten up the rod once again and it didn’t fell. But why would it be loose in the first place… that was dangerous. The location is amazing and that I surely loved, the kitchen is nice and clean and overall is not a noisy area. The power went away for around 2 hours from random outlets, the microwave wasn’t working and either the fridge, but some lights were… the good thing is that once I called they did fixed the issue immediately, so the phone service was great. I thought the experience was what you paid for, around $500 for a week on airbnb… but then I was going to make a reservation again for late February and price went up $3000 for a week… i wouldn’t recommend paying that amount for this hotel. But overall it was an okay experience.

        Great central location with easy access to most of the city. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The access to a shared kitchen and laundry facilities was also very convenient. All things considered, I think this is one of the best options in central SF for a single traveler.

        I am all for spending the night in a budget hotel but this took it to a whole new level. First the elevator was not working and I have a sneaking suspicion that it isn't usually in service. Six flights of stairs later with luggage in tow, I made it to my room only to discover there was no blanket for the bed and no blanket in the drawers or the closet. I was able to access the closet concierge and take a blanket down 3 flights of stairs and 3 flights of stairs back up to my room. The room was freezing, December in S.F. who would have guessed lol, and was told that the boiler doesn't turn on until 5am. Needless to say I won't be back and the experience was much less than desirable.

        Overall this was a great option for a budget-friendly, centrally-located hotel. I stayed for 2 nights in August and everything was up to par. I booked through AirBnB and the check-in instructions were super clear and concise, even noting minor things like how the door lock light might not turn green when you enter the correct code. The room looked like the pictures online and the sheets and room were clean! We even had a large fan and a small heater in the room! The elevator is a bit old and the ceilings creak when people walk above you, but that’s fairly expected w the building. We had zero issues w guests respecting quiet hours, and had no need to contact the hotel staff so I can’t speak on the service aspect. There’s also limited plugs in the room itself- only a few that aren’t easily accessible, but the bedside lamps have USB ports and support wireless charging. Everything overall was great- highly recommend if you’re looking for a cheaper option in a super central and walkable location!

        This was a cute hotel to call home for a couple of days. I really appreciated the full-sized kitchen and living area (communal areas shared with the rest of the hotel) in the lower level of the hotel. This helps budget conscious travelers with eating out all of the time if they utilize the space to have a “home” cooked meal. Room was comfortable and I had a nice view of the street.

          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
