Room was not very clean, only one trash can. Air condition was so old, it was only possible to run on max speed. It dripped water from the ac pipes to electric contact and on my bed during the night. The ceiling fan was so noisy, it seemed like it was about to fall down at any time. Poor lights in the pool area. The beds were really worn out, not recommend if ur having a minor back problem. Positive and nice staff. Not even that cheap really. Would not recommend to a friend.

We loved our stay at Kata Interhous! The place is up the hill, mountains all aroud, quiet and very peaceful. We booked 2 nights on 'Booking' and extended our stay through the owner for another night because we loved it so much! The owner is a beautiful lady, super nice and professional. When we arrived we were told there were no double rooms with two beds, so she offered a room with a queen bed and a sofa which she turned into a bed with an extra mattress on top. It was very comfortable! (I traveled with my dad). There was always hot water in the shower. She works there all by herself, and it's booked fully almost non-stop. Every day she would clean our room and place fresh bottles of water and towels as needed, every time we saw her she was always smiling and nice! One day she took us to a massage place where we had the best massage ever - she goes there herself too - you should ask about it because it's not on google maps at the moment - and recommended a restaurant close by which was also perfect! So thank you very much! Here are some pictures from our stay. (Oh yeah, we were also adopted by a lovely cat and she accompanied us everywhere)

Stayed for two weeks, used as a base then had a short trip to Bangkok, spent last full week at Inter House. Set just outside Kata away from the tourist centre, lovely quiet hillside location surrounded by rain forest. Walk to town takes about 15/20 mins and is easy going down, a bit of a climb on the way back but not too difficult. Tuk Tuk costs about £6 from the middle of town. Rooms are traditional Thai style with dark wood furniture, very clean and well appointed. Mai the owner, is very attentive and looks after her guests as she would her family. Breakfast can be Thai style fried rice, or fruit with muesli or scrambled eggs on toast, what ever you want. Pool area is lovely, we came at the end of the rainy season so not everyday was sunny, but when it’s boiling hot the pool is essential. Only 10 letting rooms here so great if you want a quieter stay. Kata offers the usual resort town distractions, bars, restaurants, sandy beaches, para sailing and shopping galore, plenty of tours to be had and no high rise hotels, this gives the whole place a relaxed authentic Thai feel.

We booked superior room at inter house, the room pictures and the accommodation look lovely online for a budget hotel, it all changed as you arrive, you quickly understand that the pictures online of the hotel were taken way before they let it go down hill. We were told by another guest if you want anyone to book in walk around the back go up through the kitchen and someone will sort you out. This is due to the front doors of the Hotel being locked ??? strange, anyway the pool looked nice, we booked in ourselves afyer searching for staff, the so called superior room was nothing like the pictures they were advertising online, it showed the online pictures with patio doors straight to the pool, we had a small window in a lower floor room? , we booked with a child that was on the booking confirmation, the owner said you should have told us you had a kid?, we advisedhim to look closer on the booking confirmation to which he answered oh yeah well there is a sofa he can sleep on, they didn't even offer bedding for the sofa. we paid the same amount for this hotel as we did for a premium deluxe room in a hotel in Bangkok so it's well overstated. The room was damp, it smelt awful on enteting, paint peeling of the walls and when we turned on the ceiling fan dust hit us in the face, on the list of things you buy from this not so classy hotel from your mini bar No1 condoms ! hmmm, the shower room had a shower with the electrics uncovered out of the top of the shower the ceiling light was hanging out of the ceiling, the entire room was damp and the owner very rude. we asked to move rooms but the answer was no we don't have any available, we sre full!! but we can throw a bed in the room for your son. we asked if we can check out, this is when the owner got aggressive and advised us he will be filling a complaint to charge us for the loss of business with the booking company, as we wernt happy. we advised the company we booked through that the hotel and room is not what was being advertised, we have had to stop them claiming the money from the bank. The location is isolated and a 20 min taxi drive from phuket this place is not what you see being advertised if you don't mind damp dingey type of style accomodation then book it, but if you have self respect and want quality for what you pay, don't bother there are many better locations.

A quite place to stay, also a well equipped and old- thai- style hotel. The host is very talkative. The dog in the backyard likes to play tennis ball with me. In all, if you are looking for a quite place to stay, this is probably the best one.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
