Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. The room was luxurious and clean. The shower was a thing of beauty. The public bath was very nice as well. Location is great with the Gion district, Nishiki market and Kyoto station all within a 20 minute walk. You get what you pay for here, very nice.

I can't help but commend the service, the convenient location near stations and convenience stores, as well as the room's practical square layout. They even provide daily housekeeping and loaned me a travel adapter. The only drawback is the absence of windows in the room. Without a doubt, this hotel will be my top choice for future trips."

I had a horrendous stay. Despite booking for 2 adults and 3 children online, the hotel's on-site policy contradicted this, forcing us to get an extra room unnecessarily. The front desk staff displayed a terrible attitude, making us feel unwelcome. This experience reflects poorly on Keio Prelia Hotel, and I advise others to reconsider staying here. [Your Full Name]

5.5 years old boy in women spa watching women without clothing They boy starred at women and playing here and there. It's not respect women. Though it's the Japan law to allow 6 years old kid to follow parent of opposite sex, it brings people discomfort, angry, embrassment, humiliations . Don't forget hotel serves lots of foreigners. They should be more world-oriented. Hotel/Japan just cares about children, how about humans (men/ women) I advised their family to take him away asap, but they still very proud to claim their boy only 5.5 years old. It's ridiculous and barbarian. Two days before, I have already met a woman who don't shower and clean, then directly went into the pool. Today, a woman put her bare foot on the mouth of the spa water outlet. It's so disgusting, dirty, impolite, inconsiderate. They don't respect the basic manner and other people. I am staying here for 9 days, seeing so much. I can only say the hotel itself is new and the staffs are nice. It's a nightmare to meet so much annoying things in this hotel

The location of this hotel is nice, with easy access to buses, which is the most convenient way to explore Kyoto. Although we initially took the metro to the hotel, we later discovered a bus stop right next to the hotel. If you have large luggage, taking the bus from Kyoto Station is recommended. The hotel reception offers Kyoto city bus one-day passes, making it convenient for travelers to explore the city. Even though we arrived before check-in time, the staff was accommodating and kept our luggage at the reception until we returned from sightseeing. The room had the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay, including the convenience of a downstairs convenience store where we could purchase snacks. We enjoyed being able to make instant noodles and watch Naruto together in bed while sipping from their L-sized heatproof keep-cup. If you are planning to visit the hot springs, their indoor public bath is quite spacious and well-maintained, featuring a single pool. Female visitors have access with a password for added security which is thoughtful.
