        Stayed there for a night. A nice boutique hotel. Walking distance about 10-15 mins from Kyoto station. Plenty of parking nearby. No breakfast provided. Self serve washroom amenities at the front desk. Front desk is staffed from 1000-2200.

        1. Had to wait to check-in because the room was not ready (we waited until 16:05). So in total we wasted 1 hour and 5 minutes 2. Can hear the noise from the road outside and the lift 3. The bed is super hard, will not recommend for people who does not prefer this type of bed 4. The staff was not that welcoming and did not inform us anything during check-in Will not recommend this hotel with alternative available around Kyoto with better room, service, price and location.

        This hotel was one of our favourites in our trip to Japan. Rooms are modern Japanese minimalist style. Only 2 rooms per floor so privacy and silence is guaranteed. Perfect location nearby all Kyoto highlights. The hotel is 15 minutes walking distance from Kyoto Station with plenty of restaurants and Mini markets on the road The only inconvenience is that they don’t have a full time receptionists so communication is only by phone (very hard if you bought a traveler sim card since the phone call are not included in most plans) it will be great if they provide a WhatsApp or Facebook messenger direct line for all special requests.

        Wow, what an incredible stay at this small boutique hotel located walking distance to Kyoto station. It was so serene and quiet during my stay…felt like I was the only one there! Rooms were extremely spacious and immaculately clean. I absolutely loved the design of the room and bathroom. There were also many extras such as toothbrush/paste, hair brush, pony tails, cotton swabs, shower cap, pajamas. Water with activated charcoal provided as well. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and provided recommendations as needed. It was rainy one day and they had plenty of umbrellas for use. There’s an excellent coffee shop down the street called Kaeru coffee. It’s a must!

        I visited Kyoto with my mother two years ago and we stayed at this hotel for one night. It was easy to walk here from the train station. This is a gorgeous hotel with large, comfortable rooms.... it has a special, peaceful and almost magical atmosphere. The tea offered tasted very good in the ceramic mugs. I believe the mugs helped to improve the experience, haha. This is certainly one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at and I appreciated the experience staying here. I wish I could visit again.
