We had a great time during our stay here. There are so many nice little perks and details that just make you feel special and the stay worthwhile, from the daily credit at the snack bar, the complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby in the mornings, the happy hour credit, and the super cute record player in the room. My only dissatisfaction was the bathroom not having a full closed door and the crazy valet price per day but other than that everything was great. The room was spacious and nice and the staff were friendly and courteous. Another great perk is the location and how it’s walking distance to many great places around. Lastly, GO to the restaurant in the lobby!!! Amazing food!!!

If you can get a room here for a reasonable price (typically by booking well in advance), do it! This is a swanky hotel that can be had for a great price with some patience. I stayed 4 nights in September when I visited SF for the first time. I spent very little time in the room. The location is great if you want to be close to Fisherman’s Wharf, but I decided it wasn’t for me and will probably stay closer to the city next time I visit. It was really nice to have a decent, clean room to return to after each day spent in a vibrant, interesting, and *very dirty* city. However, the shower was disappointing. Every time I used it, water pooled up in the bathroom due to the lack of a proper screen. Other than that, the room was excellent.

As far as visiting San Francisco goes, at least for me is location! With the Bay area being home to many excellent entertainment venues, this hotel is an excellent place to land. But even more than that, it aligns perfectly with the Kimpton standards and offers those awesomely unique amenities. Two of my favorite amenities here were the daily happy hour and the vinyl records checkout at the desk. Although I felt one of the DJ's had some most unusual music genres selected for happy hour, it is always a great way to start the evening and meet new friends. Cleanliness and customer service are clearly a priority, it is nice to stay in a clean and odorless atmosphere. The Fillipino restaurant within the hotel seemed a bit specific, but there are plenty of others within a short walk. The snack bar also offered some wonderful options for drinks and snacks. With the valet costs in SF being outrageously high, utilizing Uber was a much better option. Cheers!

I don't know what kind of architect would design a bathroom without a shower door. If you don't put a towel at the entrance to the shower, you could slip and fall, possibly killing yourself. Don't even get me started on the toilet, jeez . It's like a big hole that only good comments are on top. I think they have people floor. Pluses being able to stream from your cell or laptop ro the TV. Bed and pillow very comfortable. Dog friendly, no hidden charges. The location is very good. Overrated, they will bury this review with good comments. Looking at the reviews of this place, I noticed that good comments are on top. Don't stay here unless you have a dog
