I must praise their superb service. All staff are nice, quick and helpful. We need to change the room due to some small issue in the midnight and the front desk was able to find us another room in the same floor in no time. The front desk were enthusiastic to guide you to the amenities of the hotel. Room was comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was fantastic. Everything was great. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are perfect. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. I loved the location of this hotel. It was close enough to the Royal Mile, train, tram and other popular attractions that you would walk anywhere within 15 minutes. It was a quiet area with plenty of food options nearby. Room service was speedy and friendly too. Everything was exceptionally clean.

This property is absolutely beautiful! It is the result of combining several townhouses into one property. The decor is incredible. The staff is the ultimate in professionalism. Miguel helped us get in touch with a restaurant, and he did it with a warm smile. The property offers a great location. Everything is within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for you vacation in Edinburgh.

INCREDIBLE LOCATION - there is so much to do right outside the front door of this hotel! We walked around and found fantastic restaurants, shopping, and cultural sites. Highly recommend walking to Dean Village. COZY ROOM - really enjoyed the double room we received as an upgrade. Also, the check-in process was spectacular; all the staff greeted me by name and welcomed me to the hotel. Never experienced anything like this! DREAM GYM - the gym was very expansive, encompassing two large rooms. Plenty of cardio and strength equipment to entertain gym junkies and enough space to make it feel spread out. Then there was locker rooms for males & females, and the pool/spa area that I keep dreaming about. That area is underground which made it feel very exclusive and quiet. Dry sauna, steam room, large pool big enough for laps, this is my dream stay!

I was at the hotel for a few days and used the spa and pool and restaurants. I can't express enough how much I loved the sound therapy experience called Swell! Apparently it's one of its kind in all of the UK and it's a new experience that only the spa at the Kimpton offers. I was so grateful to use it three times during my stay! The people at the spa and fitness center are so welcoming and genuinely helpful. After I tried Swell for 15 minutes, they recommended me to try the longer one and add a whole body massage onto it. It was deep divine relaxation for my body and mind and soul! The pool and sauna are wonderful too. Everything here is clean and classy and the food is fabulous in all of the restaurants! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Edinburgh. It's in a privileged location where you walk out your front door to a park across the street, small pubs around the corner, and Princes Street with a view to the castle in just a few more steps. I will definitely return someday, hopefully soon!
