5 stars all around. The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean and comfortable and I loved all the lounge areas - we had breakfast and coffee every morning in the lounge area and it was so relaxing - great way to start the day before hitting the bustling city streets. The staff was super, super friendly to my puppy. So sweet and friendly to my little shy rescued girl; I'm so grateful for their kindness in helping her come out of her shell! The valet staff was also incredibly hospitable - always greeted us with a smile and opened the door for us every single time we came through. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. We stayed 8 nights and I feel like that's a really good amount of time to see/feel/notice anything negative and we didn't at all. Every day was absolute comfort and joy. And I'm so not being hyperbolic; Kimpton Gray Chicago truly made Christmas 2024 the best! Thank you!

Nice hotel, recently (well just before Covid I think) done up and given a nice refurb. Lots of original features combined with new decoration and paint. Good location for business, not so much for socialising, unless you like a wee walk. Brilliant staff, really helpful and friendly, good amenities and restaurants close by. Only thing is that nothing in the hotel is open on a Sunday night, so if you want food, then you are out of luck, but that was the only downside I could find.

Service was good. Property is beautiful, has marble ceilings and stairs on ground floor. On-site there are couple of restaurants one has wine socials and happy hours. I had dinner in one of them and food was pretty good. Although rooms are updated, need to be careful about which room you are getting, mine was near the elevator corridor so pretty noisy. Also the was a pillar next to the bed, did not like the room.

Always a great visit, its our hotel of choice every time we visit Chicago. The front desk personnel are always friendly and helpful, asking for assistance to the room is always immediate, the wine reception in the lobby was a nice welcoming touch. Also, the room atmosphere? The best. So romantic and relaxing. Kimpton is now at the top of my hotel lists because of this hotel in Chicago.

Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Location is in the business district of Chicago; which is pretty much dead at night. However, I expect the hotel bar to serve drinks after 09.35pm. It was a disappointment that they simply did not serve any drinks 25" before the closing time. Very bad attitude of the people i the bar working that night ...

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
