The staff at the King George Hotel in San Francisco is incredibly friendly. Despite not having a mini refrigerator in our booked queen bedroom, Vivian at the reception kindly provided one, which was highly beneficial. She was consistently helpful and kind throughout our stay. The maid service maintained an excellent standard, keeping the room clean and tidy. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning. Its proximity to bus routes and cable cars provides easy access to iconic places. Overall, we had an amazing experience during our stay. We stayed 4 nights.

My affordable hotel of choice in the union square area. Clean, good sized rooms, nice amenities (coffee, purified water machine, easy to use lights/lamps/central location. Lobby is beautiful, staff is helpful and checks you in super quick. This place isn’t gonna blow you away or, but it’s totally a great value that’s safe and clean.

I can’t say to the actual inside of the hotel but it’s located in a super sketch part of town- never seen anything like it in my life- crazy amount of homeless right on the streets and some random homeless dude wrapped in bandages walked up to our car while we were driving down the street (stop and go because of rush hour) asking for drugs or money- we kept driving and didn’t even stop. We were scheduled for 2 nights and they wouldn’t even give a partial refund when we cancelled. Was excited to stay here but definitely didn’t feel safe

I would like to say that this was a very pleasant stay. The amenities are not what you would get from a 5 star hotel, but then again I was not looking for that. I wanted a well located, clean, well staffed hotel. The staff was amazing, true there was no air conditioning in our room, but it's San Francisco and the night time temperature was amazing. There were a little issues that I had, but that was mainly due to the size of the room and bathroom. However we really did not spend that much time there. If you are looking for a well located hotel, with a great staff that is a little more historic. This is the place for you.

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL stay at King George Hotel. While we stayed in a Superior Queen room- we did not have AC as listed when booking- but we were very comfortable with the ceiling fan and opening the window. Our room faced the busy street, and there was street noise at night (but this is out of the hotels control) and honestly did not bother us often. The bed was very comfortable, every staff member we interacted with was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is kept very clean and has a wonderful ambiance. If I ever have to return to San Fran I would absolutely stay here again.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
