I heard that the store recently opened and is the first Nintendo product store in Kyoto, located at the Takashimaya Kyoto shopping center. You can easily reach it by bus 17, 205, 4,5 from Kyoto station for 230 yen. The store showcases limited edition items not found in regular stores! For Mario and Zelda fans, there's a wide range of personal items, dishes, t-shirts, backpacks, and toys…. The store is always bustling with a queue, and the staff is ready to guide you through the products. Don't forget to visit the upper floor, explore, and take pictures with the large Mario. The staff is helpful in capturing beautiful moments, but be prepared to wait in line!

Was glad to visit while I was in Kyoto as I've grown up with Mario. Was disappointed there was not much more unique stuff to buy though. The location was a bit hard to find as it's on 7F and no direct access but unsure of whether this was temporary due to lift or escalator issues. Most items were available to buy at other stores in Japan. Would I go again if in Kyoto? Yes. Would I go to Kyoto to visit the store? No.

Just amazing! It is located at the 7th floor near the market, it has a roof lounge that you can access after paying for your stuff, there is a bunch of things! It is bigger than the store in Tokyo, so far, because of the grand opening on 10/17/23, they are issuing tickets to enter, you can not enter without a ticket, you can get a ticket at Shijo station entrance 10 where the Nintendo murals are.

Heard that this store has higher stock than the Osaka one (and that it’s also the newest) . If you have a my Nintendo account, make sure you head to the counter to the right to get a cute free sticker and also again when paying so you get gold points!! Lots of helpful and fluent staff , namely Hina, who made my experience at the Nintendo shop very nice! (Note to pikmin fans, don’t forgot to get the exclusive seedling and also this place has more merch than the Osaka store!)

Out of the three stores Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka the Osaka store is the busiest and the largest with more variety of pushes and stuff compared to the other two.. When you arrive at the train station there are some staff in some of the exits saying to go to exit 10 to get a entry ticket to the store. I went to exit 10 at shijo station at around 9:20am. And queued on a Saturday morning for an entry at 10am. The entry paper ticket allows you to enter the store within 20mins (10:00-10:20) after which you will need to get a new ticket. We were lucky as there weren't many people queuing for a ticket since we were early. I then had to walk for ten mins to the department s and queue outside the mall for around 15mins before they let you go in. Just before it opened there were already 80 people lining up behind us. We were fourth in the line. We had to queue just inside the mall in the foyer. Remember that the first set of lift at the front on the left behind the big Mario figure doesn't let you ride up to level 7 where the store is located. You need to head straight into the department store then take a right then left then right and then straight at the end there is another set of lifts that will take you up to level 7. Remember if you're there early run to the lift otherwise you'll be waiting for a while. If you decide to take the escalator up it will take 5mins. The lift is the fastest (took like ten sec) . Don't bother catching the lift from level 2 up or from level 7 down as it'll be full of people. You won't be able to get in. The store is larger and has a bit more range than Nintendo Tokyo and Osaka . Being the first there meant I was able to buy a lot of things quickly and check out was quick. The staff stock things quick. I got a yoshi egg plush and then next min someone had refill the egg. If you buy from any of the Nintendo store and you don't want to go to universal studio Mario world them that's ok everything you'll find here will also be at the store in Mario world.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
