We had an excellent stay at Kolbe Hotel for Christmas! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was delicious and very high quality! We had drinks at the bar some nights and found the bartender to be very knowledgeable and skilled. The hotel is also in a fantastic location. We had a great few of ruins at the Palatine Hill right outside our window. Travel to must-see landmarks was quick and easy by foot meaning we never felt like we had to go far to find something interesting to visit. Thanks to the staff at the hotel for a wonderful stay and making our Christmas in Rome something special that we will always remember!

10/10 recommend! A quiet/relaxing location that is still walkable for many wonderful restaurants, as well as the roman forum and colosseum (+ taxi's are inexpensive). The rooms are well sized, very clean, and modern. All the staff was absolutely wonderful and very attentive. Alessandro was so helpful and professional. He made our stay wonderful! There is a beautiful garden in back and the restaurant on main level is wonderful (breakfast buffet included). The best hotel we have stayed in all of Europe! Will recommend to all family and friends visiting Rome!

All comments wrt to price performance ratio: Really close to the city center, located in a safe neighborhood (at least it felt safe for me), our room was spacious and clean, common spaces were also clean and well decorated. Staff was also good, nothing to complain about actually... I would stay here again when I visit Rome. December: Our room was generally too hot (temperature wise), but it was December so opening the window solved the problem.

What an incredible stay at the Kolbe Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff at reception, check-in was seamless and our luggage arrived within minutes to the room. The room was comfortable and modern, the bathroom was clean and equipped with all toiletries. The view to the Palatine made us fully immerse ourselves in the city’s rich history right from the beginning. The Kolbe Hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. It is within walking distance to all major attractions and landmarks, including the Palatine, Coliseum, the Roman Forum, and even the Vatican. The room and rooftop offer the most breathtaking panoramas of the entire city. We dined at the Majestic Garden Restaurant and it was an incredible experience. The live music during dinner provided the perfect soundtrack to our meals, creating an ambiance that was nothing short of magical. Dining amidst the lush greenery and historic surroundings, while being serenaded by live music, made every moment a true delight. We returned the next morning to have breakfast which was delicious and consisted of hot buffet, cold cuts and variety of cheeses, pastries, fruits, juice and coffee. We were given first-class treatment by the manager, Carl Izzo, who ensured that every aspect of our visit was flawless. His attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident throughout our stay, and his warm and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel truly valued. Our stay was nothing short of magical, and we eagerly anticipate returning to this oasis of excellence in the heart of Rome.

Loved this hotel and the staff! The location was so close to everything in Rome! Being near Palatine Hill, we would pass the Roman Forum and Colosseum every day. It was so beautiful in the evenings. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and made our stay fun. Especially Muhammad and Omar! They gave us helpful tips, especially when to get to the airport to complete our tax forms. They were also very fun, kind and courteous. The breakfast was very nice and sitting in the bar after a long day of site seeing with a glass of wine was so relaxing. Loved this place and would definitely recommend it!
