Unfortunately my stay wasn't great. First off, Zachary, the assistant front office manager and front office staff get 5 stars!!! Their helpfulness + professionalism + attitude were exemplary. The beach fire pits were beautiful. BUT my Fire Pit Junior Suite was a HUGE disappointment. The photo's on their website are completely deceptive. It shows it has a marina view. My photos below show the actual view. My view was of a building that blocked any marina view. The loud humming of electrical equipment inside that building made sitting outside on the patio a very unpleasant experience. The beds were elevated abnormally high. I literally had to climb up into the bed. A short person would have needed a stool or chair to get into bed. I'm not sure what that is all about. The room + location were not comfortable at all. The price tag didn't justify the accommodation's.

What a fun trip! We booked last minute just wanting to get away for my birthday. The staff were so nice, offered a complimentary bottle of champagne for the room on arrival. The hotel has one restaurant and we enjoyed our drinks, Breakfast and a late night burger snack during our stay. For breakfast I recommend the smoked salmon bagel and the feta spinach omelet. The clam chowder is also really tasty. The hotel offers a complimentary bike to travel through the island which was great. The adult only pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and there is a bar available. The private beach was nice at night with fire pits. And a beautiful view of the marina and part of the city. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the his and hers sinks in the bathroom and private small balcony. The bed was a bit squeaky though. But overall very comfortable. You will probably need a car to be most economical to experience San Diego if you want to do sites and restaurants because this hotel is on Shelter island but if you’re just looking for a get away this is the place. Mitch’s seafood and Ketch are nearby options for good food.

The beach resort is located at Shelter Island in San Diego. The best thing about the resort is the amazing view and location. Just opposite the resort is the bay view and also the marina so it is beautiful. The amenities in the resort like swimming pool, vessel restaurant are also good But what lacked was the service. Free parking was not provided and per night it was 45$. Parking is mostly free in many resorts when you are charging resort fee anyway. The rooms did not have microwave which was a real bummer, they said microwave was 25$ added charge. This seemed outrageous to us. Sometimes you do need a small microwave to heat some food. Also there was no complimentary breakfast which was also rude. Thus all and all though location was great the service was poor. Overall 2.5 stars

Do your research first. The "private beach" will be disappointing if you expect it to be a real beach that gives you access to water. It's really a strip of sand bordered by large rocks beyond which is a narrow marina. The rooms are cramped and don't live up to the photos. Our room light was flickering brightly when we turned out the lights. The shower had a shoddy caulking job. The coffee maker was dirty. The large framed picture in the bathroom had a stain, and that felt emblematic. This was all compounded by the nickel and diming: a restaurant "service charge" to "offset minimum wage increases," a $45 daily resort fee and $45 daily self parking. The location is fun and beautiful. The pools are heated nicely and well maintained. Just lower the expectations you might get from their photos and expect to pay more a lot more than the posted room rate and you might have a good experience.

I enjoyed a wonderful experience there! Great service and onsite amenities! Room were very nice! The only negative I experienced was not anything the resort was responsible for, but rather inconsiderate guests in the room above me. I would highly recommended this resort based on experiences and location!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
