Stayed here for a week with my partner and was very pleased with my stay. The staff are very friendly and always there to help, whether that’s with restaurant suggestions or transport. The area is quiet and located just off a road filled with restaurants. It is about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Ubud or a 3 minute bike. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Water and towels refreshed every day, we opted for our beds to be changed every 3 days. Breakfast didn’t have much options but regardless of that it was lovely. Would 100% recommend.

We had a great stay at Kubu Tropis for more than 2 weeks. The place was really pretty and modern, with a lovely pool and great room. Loved that out room had it's own veranda, with a counter and bar stools for two: perfect place to chill with a drink, eat meals or work on the laptop. The staff, Wayan, Kedek and Adi, were very kind and helpful. Anything that we needed help with during our stay, they were able to help us with. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was 👍 good. You get a choice of tea/coffee, a hot dish (must try their omelette, and also the banana pancakes) and a fruit plate or fruit juice. We were sad to leave but will be back again. ❤️

We had a great stay here - excellent hospitality, clean rooms and great breakfast. They sell soft drinks and beer at their counter as well. They also have scooter rental available. There’s always someone at the desk from early morning to 9pm. Rides to the central is around 47.5K - 50K one way, but cars are unable to enter the street (only motorcycles can squeeze into the side street). Only issue we had was the slight drainage issue in the shower.
