Me and my family stayed here for three days and wow it's not the greatest motel I have stayed in toilet paper on the window sill that condinsation can get to the whole room is falling apart it way two hot in the motel room needs better air conditioning unit the whole place needs a upgrade the mineral pool needs upgraded only best thing about they place was the outdoor pool and even the laundry needs upgrade to and the kitchens in the rooms need a upgrade. Also they need to clean the rooms out properly I found someones underware behind the door

When I first arrived the room seemed cozy and nice enough for the price but if you take a closer look the whole room is falling apart. A lot of damage like holes in the walls. Stains on bedsheets, pillows, bathroom floor, almost everywhere. Bugs were also present in the room. In the bathroom they leave the toilet paper on the window still and flies were seen on the toilet paper. Spiders and moths were seen during the night. Water pressure in the shower was also not very strong. Pool and Mineral spa looks questionable, the pool was actually pleasant but I do not recommend dipping your head in or even getting in if you are afraid of catching something. Overall I don't recommend staying here, find somewhere else unless you are just looking for a cheap place to stay. The people who run it and staff seemed nice but that's about it.

I don't know why there are so many complaints. We stayed here for 5 nights, 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms were clean. Kitchen & bathroom was fine. Accommodated to our needs, pool was great to cool down in. For the price it's such a great place. Family orientated & felt safe. Staff were friendly. The wifi cuts out alot but apart from that it was fine. We will definitely be back. Thank you

What a dump. I would recommend it for people that want the cheapest of the cheap accommodation but it's not that cheap. It's dated, the info sheet in the room says they service the rooms daily but they didn't once. The rooms aren't clean and are falling apart. The beds are like sleeping on a lumpy rock. The bathrooms are mouldy and they leave the toilet paper on the windowsill where they get soggy from condensation. They claim to have 2 mineral pools but they are filthy and desperately need to be drained and cleaned. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

Paid NZ$121.75 for 1 night stay in Nov 2023 in Kuirau Park Motor Lodge after 18% discount from credit card. Booked through Agoda. 1. Stayed on the ground floor of the hotel. The sound proofing of the room was poor as we could hear people walking outside the room. 2. The room looked old and outdated. We felt the kitchen and toilet floor quite sticky when we walked over it barefooted. Room was spacious for 2 persons. But the bed was very soft and uncomfortable – felt like the springs were already spoilt. 3. There was no air-con and only a standing fan provided. 4. The attached toilet and bathroom was spacious. But there was stain in the face basin. The water pressure was strong and drainage was good. 5. The hotel provided face and bath towels. 6. The wifi was very unstable. 7. Service staff at the reception was helpful and friendly. 8. An allocated free car park space provided in front of the hotel room. 9. There are some eateries about 2-3 minutes’ drive away.
