I was so sad to leave this inn. Emiko (the host) is so on top of everything, so friendly, speaks perfect English. She helped us send our bags in advance to Tokyo, gave us amazing restaurant recommendations, and made us feel right at home. The room itself is incredibly comfortable and perfectly designed/optimized. We also loved the breakfast as an easy way to start our day before exploring the city. The location is in a cute neighborhood with easy subway and bus access. We loved the location. I would never stay anywhere else in Kyoto, can’t recommend enough. Thank you emiko and family!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Kyo-Anthu Inn! It's conveniently located next to train and bus stations, and has a few vending machines and local convenience stores that are within walking distance. Moreover, the hospitality here was better than the 5-star hotels we had stayed at in Tokyo and Osaka! The hosts are a tight-knit family that are unbelievably kind. There was a lot of rain during our stay, and when one of us got a little sick, without prompting, the innkeeper listed out what Japanese medications we could purchase and from what locations. Emiko even laid out a few fresh oranges for us, which was so thoughtful! There was even a map of Kyoto that had all of the major attractions available in our room. Emiko took the time to listen to our plans and explained what routes to take on public transit in the mornings, and she sounded genuinely excited for us and our experiences when we returned each day. At the end of our stay, Emiko's mother and father helped load our luggage into their car and drove us to the train station so we wouldn't have to trek in the rain. When we return to Kyoto, we will definitely be returning. Don't hesitate to book here!

Staying with Emiko and her family was a major highlight of my trip! Her and her family were so kind and thoughtful during my stay. They really made me feel like home. When I was lost in Kyoto, Emiko offered to pick me up. During a typhoon, she would bring lunch to my room because I couldn’t leave the house. She also gave some great local recommendations on places to see and eat! Travelling solo can be hard sometimes but Emiko made it feel like I always had someone to talk too! Oh and her cooking is amazing! Thank you for an awesome four days in Kyoto!

The hospitality, cleanliness, and the location make this place the BEST place to stay in Kyoto. Because it's family run, you get the real Japanese experience. The main host Emiko speaks English very well and can help you with anything you're looking for. We ended up staying in 2 of the rooms, all really nice. I highly recommend the big room on the main floor as it's very spacious and traditional. This will always be my go-to place to stay whenever I'm in Kyoto! Owner is friendly and reliable, response fast when ever we need assist, room is clean and bigger than some hotel rooms, they even bring us to bus stop and train when we reached their inn and don't know the way and they send us to Kyoto Station when we left. Thank you 👍👍👍 3 to 5 December 2023.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
