After staying in Tokyo, we were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem of a hotel in Kyoto. The front desk is very nice and clear with instructions and our room is super spacious! We LOVE the fact that it’s in a Japanese style townhouse, so we get to experience what it’s like to live here.

A hidden gem off the beaten path. The way the hotel operates is quite different than traditional hotels. The staff at the front desk is often not there, but there are 2 ways to reach him. 1. There is a cordless phone at the front desk and you can dial #1 to get a hold of him and sometimes if he is not on the property, there is a phone number you can reach him at. (+) The rooms do a good job of providing a "Japanese experience" with the décor. (+) The prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering how spacious the rooms are. (+) The lobby had a lot of advertisements for participating in Japanese traditional art forms (for a fee, of course). (+) The building itself is a little aged, but the rooms are very comfortable, clean, and updated.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kamanza Hotel. It is located in a very comfortable and quiet area of Kyoto. We found the access to the metro system to be very handy. The staff was very helpful, warm and welcoming. The staff provided very helpful information to our questions about site to see and how to get to them. The rooms are very nice, very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space and a very comfortable bed to sleep in after our busy days in Kyoto. Would definitely stay at this Hotel again. Our hostess was very nice when we first arrived. They stored our packs and placed them in our room for us. This allowed us to make better use of our time to see the sites in Kyoto. They helped us to determine our best routes for transit to get to our sites and this was all done in english which we appreciated. Loved our stay!

We loved this hotel! The rooms were comfortable and spacious - we stayed in a four bed room. The toilet was amazing!! We found it the perfect place to explore Kyoto from, especially if like exploring by foot. Positioned in some quiet little backstreets, which were great for wandering, it's close to restaurants, delicious bakeries, a supermarket, shops, a metro station and places of interest - including the royal palace. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
