        Pool not open. No TV. Internet sketchy. Flaming tour guide working front entrance says inappropriate comments. Also the rooms are not secure. People can jump from balcony 2 balcony and open your rear door. One photo shows how they can use the credit card to easily open door because it is rigged for break in. Otherwise all the employees were nice and the hotel could be very nice and probably used to be very nice but the current owner needs to spend some money. Being cheap loses money.

        The room was spacious and that the location is perfect if you want just a place to stay and leave your things and a nice place to sleep. The room I booked via agoda was an economy room for 4 days and 3 nights. The room was in the 3rd floor, spacious and has a decent AC unit. To add, the room also has a veranda where I can hang my wet clothing to dry and a place one can smoke. Furthermore the staff were accommodating and even gave us a decent tour package on the island. To top all that, it's near Sunny Side, a famous breakfast restaurant, so you can eat a delicious meal nearby, outside, there's also a shake store you can get some nice and cold shakes while under the nice tropical heat.

        Jason was very helpful on our stay. Highly suggest paying for him to escort you to the airport. It can be a mad house at the boat dock getting your tickets. We were in and out within 5 minutes.We did scuba diving and parasailing. Got us a great price. The only downside not really the hotels fault was they were on generator so at times the a/c was mediocre.

        Pros Situated at station 3, best landmark to remember by the highway are the Budget Mart and the  talipapa, Hotel is conveniently located by the beach front. From the highway a walking distance to Station X. Near a 7/11 store. Budget hotel, affordability 👍👍 mostly families stay here. A lot of trash bins and faucets to wash your feet. Cons Almost at the end of station 3. Be prepared to walk going to the hotel from the highway. The road tends to get flooded and muddy. A little limited to places you can eat (based on affordability) Rooms are outdated. Not so good air-conditioning and water supply. No complimentary toiletries. Some rooms do not have TV set.

        No WiFi, no hot water, no TV but the view from the balcony into the hotel Garden is nice. The hotel is beachfront. Our first room the mattress on the bed was foam and so flat that you were digging your hips into the board at night so we complained thought they would change the mattress instead they moved us to a new room however room 503 does not have hot water none of the rooms have wifi or TVs you can only use Wifi at the front desk where most of the staff is sitting and watching videos. The hotel is decorated nice but they have not done maintenance on the system's the toilet in our rooms leaked and the bathroom floor was always covered in water so you have to use sandals to walk into the bathroom the driest place in the bathroom was inside the shower. The staff does a good job they try hard the grounds are nice but the hotel definitely needs some maintenance. The air conditioner in our room was very old and very loud so much so that we would turn it off at night and just use the fan. La Isla Bonita has a lot of potential but I would not stay here again unless it was the only place available.
