        This was one of the most sketchiest hotels I stayed in. The hotel was dirty. Killed a cockroach! 🪳 Did I mention NO AC For the past 2 days!? It was blowing hot air when the thermostat said 65 ° f. We're in Florida...The key cards wouldn't work every few hours. I had to go to the front desk at least 6 times to re-register the cards. The cops were called the last day for something. I had enough. They charge people $165+ on weekends which is a robbery for this place. This place reminds me of a trap house motel. Not sure how La Quinta allows this but avoid this place like the plague. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

        The staff was very accommodating however the hotel is falling apart. Our first room had no AC and water spots all over the carpet making the room smell dank. Our next room had AC but the TV was stuck on CNN. They said they couldn’t change the TV but could provide a discount 🙄 This was on a Sunday and my husband wanted to watch the game. They apparently ran out of soap and the towels looked used ?? The front desk person gave a full refund when asked however the manger was conveniently on a conference call. We went to the Hilton

        First and foremost the staff is what made me and my family’s stay remarkable. Excellent service from Ronnie and the ladies working in the evening shift , They certainly went above and beyond. The staff was very accommodating and made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. Our room was clean and I saw no signs of bugs, the bathroom was clean. Hotel is a bit on the older side but my room was equipped with Good features Newer TV, Good fridge. Definitely not the embassy but worth the stay and a good price for your moneys worth. Breakfast isn’t very diverse but if your humble then it should suffice. During my stay it was quiet, occasionally you’ll see people walking around but they tend to their own business. Different types of Guests with Different Backgrounds. Would definitely come back and stay Again. 5 Stars for the staff once again, For Ronnie and the ladies working the evening shift as well as the elderly man with glasses that works in the mornings. Breakfast Attendant kept the lounge clean and supplied the Breakfast. Good Stay.

        Shocked and scarred are two words that sum up our stay. Unfortunately needed to arrive at 2am due to flights into town and called around 10am that morning to let them know I’d be arriving late. Talked with Ronnie which he is an amazing associate and provided very professional customer service. After getting to the hotel and checking in, we walked to the room to find the door open. Opening the door slowly and cautiously, the smell of smoke was overpowering and the dirtiness of the room is the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Didn’t find anyone in the room, and there wasn’t foul play in there, but physically the room looked very run down. Tons of stains on the floor and walls, cracked shower, mold around the top of the shower, missing drywall around the toilet, and a lot of smoke damage. After going back to the front desk to explain that I ordered a non-smoking room and was hoping to see if they had another available, they didn’t, and the front desk associate offered for me to use a deordoizing spray. With it being 2:30am at this point, I accepted, walked back to the room and did a couple sprays. I then logged into Yelp to look at reviews (which I should have done earlier) and saw bed beg images. Got nervous, decided to check under the mattress only to find a syringe! I went back up to share my disappointment and she added a note for the management staff about the room. It was suggested to return at 8am to talk with management when they came back in. In the morning, I returned at 8:15am and the new desk associate said that management wouldn’t be there until 9:15 am. That time came and they still weren’t there and was told to give them a call later. It took three more calls over the next two and a half hours to get a hold with management (because they were on a conference call) and the manager did refund my stay. However, fair warning, it wasn’t on the basis on nonsmoking vs smoking room mishap, but because of what we found in the room. So know that they may just give you whatever room they have available at times. Given the circumstances, I will say that there was a few associates they did the best they could, but I honestly don’t know how a hotel chain can get away with the state of the room the way this one was. I didn’t feel safe, I wasn’t comfortable in the slightest, and it didn’t feel clean at all! I will not stay here again and will never recommend this hotel chain to anyone else. Note to Corporate Office: Please read these reviews and do something. The staff, especially management, don’t deserve to work with so many upset customers.

        The staff is mostly pleasant. The rooms need a lot of work. There were no wash cloths, only one hand towel and 2 bath towels. The counter tops and floors were OK, but the bathtub was so grungy, we both opted not to take showers in the morning. The breakfast was barely adequate, not much selection. Some effort obviously was made to keep the plase clean, but it's shabby and old. The price is fairly reasonable, but I doubt I'd stay there again.
