        Stayed there with my children this summer. I have read some pretty aweful reviews left by others... about mold and a supposed smell. As for me, I can say this hotel offers outstanding service at an outstanding price, at an outstanding location! I would gladly go there again any time again! Yes there are drawbacks to a hotel being an old building. If you're a nitpicker or someone who smells things that nobody else does, then don't go there! If you appreciate an accomodating team who is trying to make you feel welcome and who provides you with a clean environment, or if you simply appreciate a decent, affordable hotel in an unbeatable location, then this is the place to go! You will not be disappointed!

        This place doesn’t deserve any stars. It was honestly the worst place in Paris to stay. First off when arriving we had to pay up front which is unusual for a three star hotel. Secondly when we got up to the room we noticed the smell of cigarettes, then we got into the room... First thing we seen was black mold all over the walls, the walls themselves were cracking apart with mold coming out of the cracks. After seeing this we noticed bugs all over the floors and walls. Entering the bathroom you could see the toilet had something wrong with it, the seat was holding on for dear life. Being in the room for a matter of minutes we already had a reaction to the mold causing us to not be able the breath. We grabbed our stuff and headed back to the “front desk”. We asked for a refund, he looked at us like we were crazy and questioned us asking how the room wasn’t clean. After a long process and explaining ourselves he became very hostile saying he wouldn’t give us a refund. DO NOT stay at this place. I would recommend a tent a the train station before this place. I seriously can’t stress enough about how shotty this place is.

        The Hotel was just OK. The flooring was quite old and had a hole covered with carpet. It definitely needs renovation. For this price, we expected Kettle, tea, coffee and milk in our room. However, the location near the Gare Du Nord is superb. The high price is just because of that.

        It requires me to put one star. Let me begin by saying I have walking pneumonia and this was our last hotel as I need to go home for medical treatment. This is no place for anyone to stay let alone anybody with medical issues. Every wall has black mold, they have painted and painted over it and is now cracking and sagging the walls, if the wall is tapped you will hear a crumbling sound from behind. The mold has even worked itself into the framed picture with hotel policies hung on the wall. Not two minutes after walking in my lungs were burning and I was choked up, seconds later my nose began to bleed... no joke. I am sensitive to mold anyway as I am sure most are. I’ll continue by saying the whole room smells of ciggarettes and has burns all over the floor. The bathroom had bug carcasses and live ones hovering. The toilet seat is attached with hopes and dreams and if sat on you would fall in or off onto the sticky floor. I went down stairs to try and plead with the owner he argued with me and said the rooms were perfectly clean, when I explained my health situation(bloody tissue still under my nose) he all but rolled his eyes and said there was nothing he could do which brought me to tears. Once my partner walked down and was more forceful then I felt capeable of being, he said he could refund the second night being €60 cheaper and I would have to go through booking for the rest. I contacted booking and they contacted him and they said he was going to keep the €180 for the first night as a cancellation fee. I’ve never felt so disrespected or lied to from a business in my life. When booking called and told me this, I called the hotel myself asked if I could come back, take pictures for booking so I could get my money I was screamed at, called a liar and was told never to come back. I have now disputed and filed a claim through my bank. Stay far away if you value your health, I wouldn’t even speak the name out loud.

        Very adequate hotel, close to Gare du nord. Really close. We had 3 x large suitcases and it was easy walk, and they even have a lift! A really convenient place to stay. Not super flaw, but for the price it was good. I would definitely stay again if in Paris for a night or two.
