        We loved our stay here! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the family suit and it was huge with a big terrace and every amenity that I could think of. It even had a hair straightener that I don’t see in other hotels. They anlso had products and a toy for our kid. Our room faced a back street so there was no noise and we slept peacefully. Special shoutout to the housekeeping for the wonderful service and for finding our wallet that we forgot in the safe. Big thanks for the front desk for shipping us the wallet!

        The staff at this hotel were absolutely incredible and made the stay in Barcelona. Frederica and another lovely woman (I cannot remember her name) at the front desk made our stay amazing. They helped us to make hard to get reservations on NYE and book tours of the city. The facilities were clean and updated and the breakfast is delicious.

        This does not look like what I have seen in other 5 star properties though they have the amenities. The customer service is great (however they tried to do turn down service at 8:30pm one night). The walls in the room are very thin and we could hear children crying throughout the night. Definitely bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The location is perfect - close to everything. Breakfast is good with fresh eggs/omelets, breads, pastries, fruit, meats and cheese.

        So Disapointed. It was a bit out of our budget but decided to book Le Meridien since the photos and description of the property looked amazing. The exterior and lobby of the hotel are tasteful and beautiful. The staff was nice and for the most part helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the location was convenient for site seeing and near the Gothic Quarter. Unfortunately our room (Premium Deluxe) was terrible. It did not match the photos on the Marriott website. It was dark and had little to no natural light. Our window overlooked an ally with trash cans and residential apartment balconies less than 15 feet away so we had to keep the curtains drawn the entire stay. The room was very noisy. Closing doors could be heard not just next to our room but down the hall and the floors above and below. Also must have been staying above the kitchen because each morning around 5:30am doors closing, conversations, and other work sounds. The closet was tiny. There was room to hang about 5 items. The bathroom was large enough but very oddly laid out. The toilet was tightly wedged between two walls and positioned in a way where to sit, you had to turn 30º in one direction.

        Very nice and centrally located Barcelona hotel. Spacious, fully equipped and comfortable rooms. We arrived very early in the morning and the staff accommodated early check in for us after a long flight. Very impressed by their service.
