Great hotel and mostly fantastic and helpful staff at the reception. Especially the concierge was superb. Breakfast could be much better though I am used to something larger, a wider choice and better motivated service staff at Le Méridien hotels around the globe. What about more training for the breakfast crew? And more English speaking staff 🙄

Room is very okie and comfortable. But I couldn’t imagine that how bad signal of WiFi here, we must change to 4G for calling and internet access, slow even with Wechat. Buffet breakfast is so so, less diversifying than other 5Star hotel.

My husband and I just returned from Shanghai. We stayed at La Meridien in Minhang. Everyone at the front desk was very very helpful. If English was a barrier, they always got someone to assist. Since my husband was at meetings all day, I didn’t want to be stuck in the hotel by myself, so I decided to be adventurous and go places in Shanghai. Daria and Jerry at the front desk were extremely helpful and made my trip so memorable! My trips to the zoo, aquarium, River Cruise, and the Metro, a local grocery store was made possible because of Daria and Jerry. They explained to me in fluent English how far these places were and what I should definitely see there. Each morning they got me a taxi and explained to the driver in Chinese where to take me. They reassured me that on my return if I was stuck, I could call them and they would make sure I came back safety to the hotel. Taxis were easy to find, but it was reassuring to know there was a backup plan. Thank you so much Daria and Jerry for making my trip so wonderful! The hotel is centrally located, very clean and a joy to stay in. I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Shanghai! Best regards, Anita

Rooms are always to hot. Regardless of the setting on the thermostat or the time of the year, the temperature in the room is always between 25°C and 29°C (77 °F - 84 °F). I’ve had this issue on multiple stays. If I speak with the manager on duty, the engineering staff will adjust the central HVAC setting and the temperature might go down to 24°C. An upscale hotel should have a working thermostat in each room. This place does not, so I’ve stopped staying here.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
