Very nice hotel, great staff, friendly and helpful. Great location, quiet, nestled in the back. Rooms are of luxury with nice balconies. The lotion and hair products are full size. Very nice! and by the way..so great smelling that before I left went to the spa inside hotel and bought the products I used and will be back again..to possibly do a treatment. The lounge was nice. Excellent food and the staff was so on it! Running around and happy too! That's what I love to see. Will definitely be back again when I want to take a different vacation stay. I have a place on Mission Bay on water. but this one, my friend and I were celebrating our birthdays so wanted something different and this definitely was worth it. Thank you!

Great hotel. We booked this hotel as part of our road trip across the US, and had a fantastic experience. Hector (the restaurant manager) overheard we recently got married and offered us a couple of drinks. Bar / restaurant staff were very nice and made us feel welcomed. The hotel itself is very close to downtown, just a few bus stops away. The hotel is very clean and well looked after. Bed was super comfortable. Parking is charged extra, but it was stated at booking so no surprise there. I have seen security driving around frequently in the parking lots, so I assume the parking fees cover the security costs. Would definitely stay there again when in San Diego.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 5 nights at this resort. Excellent food, great staff, and a nice room. If our beds weren't so stiff, this would have been a 5/5. However even a couple days later both of our backs are still recovering from our stay. We'd still probably come back for a shorter stay, but I'd rather have no amenities and a comfier bed.

If you want a secure private hotel that punches above its weight, then this is it. The location is excellent, set back from the road, giving a sense of privacy that other nearby properties can not. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the AC works well. Parking is on site and was $ 29.00 per night. Theresa's restaurant offers good quality at competitive pricing, The filet mignon was under $30.00! A meal for two with cocktails was around $100.00. Staff are well. Informed and helpful and keen to assist. The Spa offers plenty of options at market prices. Opposite the spa, there is a well equipped gym and a pool. Overall, it is a great find that competes favorably with bigger brands with a higher star rating.

We checked in on 8/9/2023. The hotel appears new, as it's aesthetically pleasing and very clean. However, everything else was unremarkable. As we were staying for 4 days, we planned on ordering room service in the mornings. Our phone in our room did not work. We notified the front desk upon leaving one morning, and the front desk wrote our room number on post it. When we returned 10 hours later, no one had fixed the phone. I went down to the lobby, and the front desk was exceptionally rude when I notified her our phone wasn't working and asked me if they had already fixed it. Clearly they had not, or I wouldn't be speaking to her about it. She then flagged down a maintenance man and asked him informally to go check the phone. He arrived to our room wearing sunglasses inside, smelling heavily of marijuana. He picked up the receiver, then said, "yeah, this needs to be fixed." Then walked out of the room and never returned. We gave up on getting the phone fixed and went down to the lobby to order room service, which by the way, was awful. Terrible food, highly don't recommend. Then, the shower stopped draining and we had to go down to the front desk to put a request for that to be addressed. When we returned from a day out, at 4:30 PM, they still had not cleaned the room, which was weird since the cleaning people and carts were in the hallway when we left that morning at 8 am. We ended up not having our room cleaned for 3 of 4 days because they came so late in the afternoon, at which point we declined.
