Iboften book the lodge for my tourist, the offer has declined a lot. Although the lodge is ideally located, the breakfast is below the minimum. There is no filter coffee ot tea offered upstairs or at breafast, no bottled water to drink or or buy for your rooms, the marmelade had run out. The scrambmled eggs ordered were of a 1 egg portion only. No yogurt no fruit, no cheese no extras.The safe in the room does not have a code and the manager did not come back to us to assist my guest. One guest room had barred windows and the door to the balcony no handle meaning no fresh air and we were not informed. The outdoor loungers are in a state of collape you do not even want to put a towel on them. Certainly not a 4 star rating. When I consulted the manager I was told my guests can drink tap water and get coffee at a café nearby. This place is of low standard.

I recommend staying here if you want a cozy, clean lodge ran by amazing hosts Charmaine and Lisa. Location is great, you can see Lions head and Table Mountain from the balcony !

We enjoyed our stay at Liberty Lodge very much and can warmly recommend to stay there. The location is in a great and safe neighbourhood with fantastic restaurants and bars. The lodge ist super cosy and the room has been spacious, clean and had a fantastic view of Table Mountain. The hosts both have been super lovely and made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the home made breakfast.
