        Affordable place near the city center. The general location in the city is the biggest plus, there neighborhood not. It's situated in a small alley which is dark at night, with trash on the street and sketchy looking people lingering on the entrances. Even though we were three we felt unsafe outside most of the time in the evening. Regarding the place itself, it's modern and we felt safe inside. Its highly digitized with a digitial check-in process, there is no permanent personnel at the place. The bathroom of our room was very good, but the main room with a bed, kitchen and couch had signs of mold on the wall with a possible water leak. You may book this if you travel in a group and search for a cheap, central place to spend the night at. If you travel alone or want any comfort or advanced service, look somewhere else.

        I will be as much honest as I can. The right score is between 3-4 stars. Positives: Modern rooms of high quality , perfect system of heating , comfortable beds , perfect kitchen, and a great washing machine that helped us a lot. Location close to everything, such as Rossio station for sintra, centre , tram 28 etc. Negatives: I have been to 11 countries and I never felt such in a danger as in this neighborhood,that reminds a ghetto. Too much rubbish and always a smell of peeing. To be honest these are problems that the hotel has nothing to do with , maybe they can add some outdoor lights ..Generally I would recommend you to avoid the area of Martim Moniz..there are serviced apartments to other areas P.S we noticed some insects inside our wardrobe.

        Please do yourself a favour and do not waste your time here. This was my 5th visit to Lisbon and I have never been more dissatisfied / grossed out by a property before. It was very clear the the property had not been cleaned prior to arrival. However, there were. no employees around to communicate this to. I submitted a form at check in to note the conditions and requested a clean. There was NO RESPONSE. I then tried to relocate as I had booked through hotels.com. However, the hotel did not accept any fault and noted they will send someone the following day / morning to clean the room. Again, no one showed up. At 10:30, we checked out of the hotel and booked another hotel as we wanted to salvage the remainder of our holiday. Even though we had checked out, due to their negligence, the hotel still will not process a refund for the night we are not staying. Also, as noted in the other reviews, it is not a clean area. We had an instance during the night (at around 3 am) where someone defecated by our window and the street the apartments is on had an overwhelming smell of urine. Lisbon is such a beautiful and wonderful city. Please don’t let this place ruin your trip. There are other really nice places to stay.

        AVOID, especially if you are alone or a woman. The area surrounding the property appeared to be VERY unsafe, there were some shady (at best) individuals nearby, the street very dirty, excrements, trash. My partner and I did not feel secure or at ease in this environment. Additionally, the noise level was extremely high due to the proximity of our room to something resembling an restaurant. The place is no way near that bright as in the pictures. There is no reception, or staff. The only good thing I can say is that the room was clean. Although we did not check everything because we stayed 30 minutes in order to find an alternative. I highly suggest you to avoid it.

        Staying at this place has been a TERRIBLE CHOICE. Below the main reasons: - room: as soon as we enter the room there was a MUSTY SMELL and we could feel that the room was very HUMID. We had to sleep in wet bedsheets for three nights. It also was on ground floor with people that were passing by your windows every time. There was also the entrance of a restaurant in front of the window. It was not very safe; The mattress was SMALL AND HARD. It was not a double bed but a FRENCH SIZE bed. There was MOLD ON THE WALL AND CLOSE TO THE WINDOWS. - staff: very negative experience with the staff. THEY REALLY DON’T KNOW HOW TO TREAT GUESTS. We had a very bad experience especially with João A. that assisted us in our requests. Basically, after the first night, when we realized that the room was not comfortable to stay in for other two nights with that humidity and the smell of mold, we contacted the assistance both from the contact center and from the phone. We asked him to change our room because we could not sleep in wet bedsheets or to get us a refund for the other two nights (paying the one that we spent in there) and we would have gone somewhere else. The only answer that we got was that they don’t have any other room available and that they can not refund us. We also called booking support but without any result. -check in: the check in is made by an automatic machine, very confusing and with no physical assistance (there is a phone number you can call to); - position: it is in a small street close to place Martim Moniz. This is a not very safe place frequented by unsavoury people, especially at night;
